One of my most cherished memories from years ago happened when we lived in Denver and my brother took us up into the Rockies and caught 3 nice sized trout. It was just my 1 1/2 yr old, myself, and my brother. He cleaned and pan fried the fish while I kept my son entertained. It was the BEST meal ever!

I remember the first time I saw the great lakes. Lake Michigan and Lake Erie are the only two I have been to and they were so large I thought I was at another ocean. I understood then when people laugh at "Lake" when it is a smaller body of water. So pretty the areas you have been exploring together.
