Alyson Valderrama determination comes all from you, anyone can do what they want if they worked for it, so don’t compare yourself to others, instead compare you past self to you and then you to your future. That way you’ll understand that you’ve grown so much, and yet you can continue that tenfold.

Jaclyn, thank you for sharing your speech and suggestions. I have been asked to give the graduation speech this May. At first, I wasn’t sure if I should accept the role, but now, I can see it as an opportunity to share a message that someone and myself needed to hear years ago as a fresh graduate. I am figuring out how to address my fellow PhD/MD/MS program peers all in a 5 minute speech. Yes, my university decided to put all of us in one big ceremony due to budget cuts. These three programs combined take up 8-10 years of schooling, and everyone is at difference stages in their medical career. This is going to be challenging for me to write in a few weeks. Wish me luck!

A teacher making students do all the work or not teaching well is actually helping u out. There's not always gonna be someone there to show u how to do something. Naw I had a D+ in my stats class (I’m a freshmen btw) and like I told myself that I need to pass my class now, and I got motivated enough and ended up bringing my grade up to a B-. Your desire is what makes you successful because desire unlocks the key to the execution of your tasks which will end up adding onto your ultimate goal. Your only limit is the amount of time you have on this earth, so use it wisely. Hopefully somebody reads this and feels inspired cuz it genuinely sucks when you’ve got no belief in urself ❤
