Hi there, I really like hear this story, I can't fit in my head that 2 sisters share the same man, and on top of that they give him 2 servants, and how come he goes along with it? I have heard this story like 4 or 5 times and each time I learn something new.

One has to ask the question. What did they know of the legality of only having one wife one husband? And the 2 shall become 1 flesh. If it means monogamy, among other things, why didn’t they know they were supposed to life it? And if Jacob was tricked into marrying Leah against his will, wouldn’t that be grounds for an annulment if he wanted it? They didn’t seem to know how to interpret the laws which they had been given, up to that point. And what laws were they given? “Go out and multiply and subdue the earth.” It doesn’t contain even the 10 Commandments yet. So how would they know that you can’t sleep around?

Thank you for shining your light however there is no right and wrong in our "Heavenly" father God's eyes , only choices...therefore you are speaking of the worldly God (Adam) man made laws to govern the world whom cycle has come to an end is "my" discernment through purified eyes I am king David13 of the tribe Benjamin I am🙏🏿

But, whether they knew it or not, God had already planned on 12 tribes and ALL were his sons!
