Fantastic pictures of the Jacob Hamblin Arch. The Canyon Walls of Coyote Gulch are incredibly tall. Well done!

Excellent video! Thanks for the detailed info you provide - while still keeping the watching really entertaining! Great footage - awesome landscapes that lend themselves to great videos and pictures, but then you still need to have the right equipment and a certain feel for perspective, angles, etc. Great job! I do have a question: The drop into the gulch looks almost vertical in your clip. Is this an optical illusion? What degree would you estimate it at? I've heard of people going down and up without a rope but haven't found anyone who really has themselves. Would you say it's doable for an athletic outdoorsy adult? I don't own a rope nor have any experience with using a harness or something... although I do a lot of trail running, hiking, scrambling.

Thank you! I’m not sure what angle it would be but probably between 10-20 degrees. Usually there’s a rope there that you can use. The footage is from an Insta360 so it looks steeper. Unless you have experience free soloing, I wouldn’t recommend doing it without a rope.

I've seen some videos saying that there's now some bolts on the top of the canyon wall, did you happen to notice that?
@madetoexplore22 күн бұрын
@@anthonyventimiglia5026 no we didn’t see any bolts when we were there earlier this year.
