Wow... I sat listening to these lyrics in shock. It was like I was listening to a segment of my own story. I have struggled years through schizophrenia and having been hospitalized off and on because of it. Music is like therapy for me. For the first time I have finally found a song that truly gets me. Yes the voice is amazing and the location is beautiful but what he has done is speak directly to my soul. Thankfulness for this song and singer doesn't even touch what I'm feeling right now... Thank you.

I have listened to this song so many times...me fighting major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder and bipolar depression I can relate with this so much..and having a relationship with someone who does not understand it and says just get over it and live life be happy is very hard and frustrating...my grandpa had schizophrenia at 27yrs old to 87,,he entered a mental hospital at 27 and died in there at 87,he was very sick with it😥😥my daddy fought with depression and bipolar for most his life,,my son my daughter both fight mental illness daily...I've always asked why? The family curse I call it..I take zyprexa and prozac to be able to function at my job daily and to be able to just cope with life in general. BUT your music sooths my soul so much,,thank you for this beautiful music 💙🙏

I love this song so much.... I've been going through lot mentally for years and years, so many times I have tried to open up to people just to end up being cheated, lied and betrayed once they got what they wanted from me, later on blaming me for all of it... I got this little voice in my head, who sometimes is both my best friend and worst enemy, and ive had heavy depression for years, constantly seeking a doctor and taking medication to try and fix it somehow... This song speaks to me. I cannot trust people anymore. Even those who tell me I can. I don't, I won't. Prove me I can.... Which often ends up not being proven, leaving my voice tell me I was right to not say anything... So I'll just keep my secrets to myself for people, who genuinely care...
