These dollar tree ear phones make it sound like I'm in a large empty warehouse, listening to Oceans, thinking about everything and everyone and of who I've been, who I want to be, all at once. To realize, I'm really okay. I got me, she who holds all her secrets, she who decides what to do with her life, and knows exactly who to spend every minute of it with... Oh my goodness. I listen to Lee's songs once in awhile, and only for a moment. I love his songs. And I know they're all special. His spirit and soul put into each sung word... Amazing. I connect to every song in so many ways for several different moments in my life. I've only found out about him January before last. I'm glad I know of his music and some things about him. Thank you for showing your talents and being you. I hope you know that you're a good person. ps To the one who doesn't believe. I believe in you even when you don't think you deserve it. I have seen you grow and learn and become who you are. And I need you to understand, however you are able, to just know that you're not alone. You have a person who loves you and wishes the best for you. Whether you know who that is right now or not, you will come to know them well. I know of when you're down, feeling very low, like you've hit rock bottoms basement... You may think you're stuck there and there's no way out and couldn't be possible to get any lower. All you need is the will to understand the why in everything you've yet to do. Find your why, even if it means to move slower than a sloth... Come on... At least you're moving. Once you've found a smidge reason of the Why for your life right now, run. Run as fast as your dreams come to you. Run fast enough to keep up with your dreams. Once you capture it, hold onto it forever and never let it go. Share it with the world, your idea, the splendor and magnificence of your creativity and imagination. Go wild! Bring the curtains down, let the light in, open the windows, step out onto the balcony and sing to your hearts content! You were made to be free and wild and adventuress, come to learn who you are, and bring to this world that very unique individual that you are. Let yourself be known, and be who you are. Once you know exactly who you are and where you want to go, don't have anyone stop you. You've got the world on a string, be fearless and courageous, give yourself the world, and show it just what you're made of. No matter what you do, do not, do not, do not, never ever give up on yourself nor the potential to become a better person, a better version of you every day. The future holds infinite possibilities. You can't know what tomorrow brings, but you have the agency to figure out exactly what you should do when you wake up. It's all up to you. You decide. You are who you choose to be. Life isn't fair and it never will be. That gives room to figure out what you want this life to be. Fairness, it doesn't have room for you to grow and learn. A perfect world hasn't any need for improvement. Good thing this isn't a perfect world then. Because if it were, nobody would be able to make even a slight difference. Don't take things for granted anymore. You have all you need right now to be able to get to your next level. Overcome the urge to sleep that 'one more minute' away. Human will and the belief in it can help you overcome any challenge. Understand that what happens today that isn't in your control is just a test to see what you can control. I love the quote: "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow's a mystery. But today is a gift. That's why it is called the present." And : "Believe you can, and you're half way there." Love that. It may sound impossible but - "You are who you Choose to be" is all there is to it. What you decide, predicts your next move, so be weary. Think ahead ten steps; ten minutes, ten months, ten years in advance. What you choose to-day determines what you'll be able to do tomorrow. What you choose today can help shape a better or lesser version of you. It's all up to you. Let yesterday negatively affect you and drain you of your energy, or... let it bring a positive affect on you that gives you energy! It's up to you how you choose to view your circumstances. It's all up to you. Breathe. There's so much time. Time is vast. Doesn't matter your age. The time is here. The time is now. No more going through the motions. Get up. Wake up. Realize your reasons why, and get after yourself, your dreams, your goals, and don't slow down for anybody. I believe in you my friend. All you need is now. Right now. All you need is to also believe. Believe in your abilities. Love your flaws and be willing to grow from them and be willing to go outside of your comfort zone. The only way to see to your true and full potential, is to expect to take the unexpected actions in order to achieve your next level of growth. Your next level in getting to know yourself a little better. I'll keep going because there's so much to say, to learn about, to get down to the words and inbetween the lines and in the margins of the paper and all the notes and run on sentences there is so much to find out about in this life. You are capable of so much! You have barely tasted that mountain top air. Climb higher! I believe in you. It's your turn to try to believe in you too. ❤️
