Man, that was a fun game to watch. Who knew ignoring recruiting and the transfer portal for so long could catch up to you?

There's something rotten in Stillwater. Hard to know what is going on the locker room but so disappointing to lose so many of our best players to the portal. Lots of so called "insider" rumors flying. Spencer Sanders carrying a clipboard on the sidelines at Ole Miss when he could have been the star this year in Stillwater. A $400K NIL deal was not enough to keep him here. There is something definitely rotten in Stillwater.

Mr. Unruh is interviewing so Gundy doesn't pull his credentials. This mess on offense belongs squarely on Gundy's shoulders. 1 the OC and OL coach are at schematic odds. The offense has no rhythm because they have no identity due to having to play 3 different ways. They don't hand the ball to the best playmaker on the offense in Ollie. This all falls at Gundy's feet and he is not fixing it

For the last several loses, Gundy says they were out coached. Okay...now what, Mike? Dunn has not learned to read a defense - he's blind to it. Nardo doesn't seem to be ready for DIV 1 football - he can't seem to adjust to a good offense very well. Mike doesn't seem to be able to get his coaches to make positive changes. What next, Chad?

Seen like 20 screen Saturday in all quarters from 2:00 left to throwing screen in the 4th with 8:00 mins down 23 at the time but Dunn is not it Gundy need to figure it out or just leave or needs to get replaced

Ollie is leaving for sure after this along with most of the high recruits on offense.

Oof as a pokes fan that was baaaad. They need to stick to one qb and work on him. And see what they can do, only one loss to a pretty decent team so it’s not horrible. But they HAVE to fix things or they may not even make a bowl game
@nomad1764 Жыл бұрын
I would say no he’s not. He has a 25 million dollar buy out. Gotta get better players first off, then a OC that knows how to call plays. If he’s able to get another one like Spencer Sanders he needs to swallow his pride and not let him leave next time.

9:14 The defense is good? They gave up 33 points, at home, to South Alabama. Their other opponents are Central Arkansas, a bad FCS team, and Arizona State, a team with an offense so explosive they scored as many points as I did against the powerhouse of....Fesno State? Is that what good defense looks like for Oklahoma State now?
@corbinhulsewe Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say the defense is “good” but when the offense can’t stay on the field for more than a minute it’s gonna make it harder on the defense by giving the other team lots of opportunities with short fields. Again, they’re no great but far from the biggest problem.
@kennypowers1945 Жыл бұрын
Well the defense held the other two teams to under 15 and under. And south Alabama is at the top of the sun belt this year so at least they aren’t too bad
@CRS253 Жыл бұрын
@@kennypowers1945 So a bad FCS team scored 13. A terrible Arizona State team scored 15. But the first time a team with a pulse shows up and drops 33, at home, your takeaway is a good defense? I hope your definition holds true, because that will make the rest of Oklaoma States season be hilarious to watch.

OSU cannot ever be relevant again in football. Simply do not have enough money to get and keep good players.

Name 1 D1 coach who has ever successfully platooned 3 qbs. I’ll wait. Ohio state hired a proven D coordinator. We hired one from a school nobodies ever heard of. Ok. I’ll shut up.

What exactly are the expectations? OSU has never won a NC, at least on the field, very very few conference championships so what gives? They are never near the top in recruiting but have still had some of the best to ever play the game. Financially small market, below average stadium, limited fan base. Again, just what are realistic expectations?

You're being silly billy! I have been to most of the Big 12 stadiums and it is one of the best.

I root for another OSU - Ohio State - and small city does not mean anything. Clemson is a small town in South Carolina and has won 2 championships. The fanbase demand excellence and accountability. Since you've mentioned national championships, the Big 12 is the only Power 4 conference that has not won a college playoff championship. This includes OU and UT which will depart after this year.

@@CarlaJenkinsTVYour Bucknuts are the only program outside the SE (Clemson - Baton Rouge) region of the US to have won a CFP Natty. Top talent stays in the SEC...

They have a a huge stadium that’s fairly new lol, they are in the same market as OU which makes about the same money as them, they are often at the top of the big 12. But what you said also applies to 140 other FBS programs so you don’t really have a point

Hard to tell exactly which Gundy you are referring to... Id guess Gunner would do much better anywhere with a better offensive staff and OL. Not so sure Mike would improve at any bigtime program...say Tennessee for example. Better recruits, NIL, & better staffs? yes. But wouldnt have the long leash anywhere other than Stillwater... and SEC programs dont play when it comes to firing coaches who underperform and refuse to change what isnt working. Boosters at SEC programs can afford a 20 mill buyout. We will see if OSU can.
