The so-called struggle ended years ago, but instead of moving on and growing as a country, we would rather see the tables turn. No one wants freedom, they want revenge. Mandela's vision has crumbled because of the incompatibility of culture and politics. Our country (& the world) needs a whole new kind of democracy. Either that or we should just have our wars and save the world from the cancer that is all of us.

The Cape was sparsely populated when the Dutch first settled the land. However, there where at least four tribes in the area at the time. They were either small bands hunter-gatherers, or scattered communities of farmers who also raised livestock. it wasn’t until the Xhosa and Zulu began to migrate into the territory during the mid 1700s that the African population began to expand. Both tribes were far more warlike and drove the smaller tribes into extinction.
