As a guy with super long hair i can say that using combs is the most painful experience ever like i literally get tears running through my face while combing it

Start at the bottom and slowly inch your way up. My hair was mid thigh, just take it slow, don't comb when wet it'll cause damage and start at the bottom. Using a wide tooth comb is the best option for minimal damage!
