The addition of the bunks made the room feel so much larger making this one of our favorite rooms. The “shower” room was really tight though. That would be our only negative.

Are the bunk beds large enough for a 16 and 18 year old?

So our kids are 16 and 22, the taller of the two being 5 foot seven and they didn’t have an issue. They found them to be comfortable.
