I ADOPTED A BABY ANTEATER FOR MY ZOO !

We have a new anteater here at my zoo ! Today I’m going to be introducing you all to the newest member of my animal family which is a tamandua or lesser anteater ! 🐜These crazy creatures of some the strangest & coolest here on planet earth. 🌎 Not only did we get a new anteater but we also got to check up on Ghost & Shadow my two emus & then we headed over to a friend facility to help her bottle feed a 1 day baby tamandua that was rejected by its mother. IDK if you watch the Bronx Zoo tv show but if you don't you can go back through the videos and find one where they made a special anteater board that goes on the fence and out the other side visitors can go up and see a bunch of different length clear tubes some turn in different directions some just stay straight and they can put food at the ends of them so visitors can see how they use their long tongue to travel though and track down the bugs in different sections of big those giant ant hills and termite mounds in the wild :-)
