I think the swirly face dude got in before you could lock the door, so then he was able to get into the Stilnsky apartment and pretended to be Roman Stilnsky on the phone when you called about Lois Stilnsky. Then when you were reviewing Roman later, you assumed the “Roman” who answered the phone was the real guy, and then you “cleaned up” the actual Roman and the swirly face doppelgänger got you

Very similar to Papers please! Though papers please is much darker and much more stressful haha There’s a lot more things to check the further you progress but navigating everything gets easier by time. Also your decisions determine the ending - can get very dark very quickly. Recommend you checking it out! Great game x

ALSO, small tip that i have observed! the men are usually the ones to pick up the phone, if they didn't, then they likely aren't home. if there's two males/females, then the older one will pick up. again, if they didn't, then they likely aren't home.

i'm writing comments before really getting into the video so. i dont mean to write multiple comments, but this game is also pretty complex(?) in a way. calling apartments for when they aren't on the list, paying attention to small details, the d.d.d. logos, the name, the job, the floor and apartment number, etc etc. because of this, this game probably isn't good for jacob if he doesn't understand it correctly, but it's also a game that i have been gorging on for a good while so i hope he plays more! the anomalies are so wacky and strange at times, it's so good.

First off Roman 42 is the one you accidentally let in when you didn't close the door. You aren't paying attention. You missed so many things, especially appearance wise. The dates are expiration dates. So anything under 1955 would be expired . Make sure you look for the ddd symbol on both pieces of paper. The files are what they look like, and the list, ALWAYS!! Their IDs can be different. Just because they aren't on the list doesn't mean they aren't human. Always call if they aren't on the list. There is so so much more to this game. Keep playing please.
