I frame surf a lot, and you can do it 1 footed too. I find it easier to put both feet on the frame, with your dominant tucked under the seat though.

If your bars are that far forward, I recommend upgrading to a longer frame, and using a frontload stem with bars that have a high rise. It would look better and feel better. Try it out before knocking it yo!

All that would do is make the bike less responsive, not really my style haha. I appreciate the suggestion tho. My bars look Chicago but they’re actually a little bit back from straight up and down. But a little bit forward makes tricks so much easier, you should try it!

Dude no the frame surfer hit me in the nostalgic feels. I forgot I used to do that. Imagine a 7 year old kid riding the cheapest Walmart bike downhill doing a frame surfer. How my parents didn’t 5150 me is beyond me. I never fell too that’s the crazy part I’m deadass riding down asphalt frame surfing at 7-8 years old 20mph never fell I mean the cheapest bike not even bmx. I mean like a bicycle like a straight up Barbie bike some fuck ass half breed inbred bmx cruiser, the walmart special. I’m 23 now got into drugs and out of bikes. Birthday comes in about 2 weeks, my one thing I want is a bmx bike. I’m gonna get back into it and this video confirmed it for me. I was always scared about air tricks when you got to jump the bike. That’s sketched me out, I forgot you can just go old school and stand on the bike. Man I haven’t scene someone do a frame surf in atleast a decade like words can explain the nostalgia

No gear too. We were kids we didn’t need gear. Just soaring downhill standing on the bike seat. As a kid you don’t have a sense of danger like doing that you can actually die. I did it like it was second nature…. When your standing on the seat of your bike you don’t really have brakes to stop if shit goes wrong just remember that

We call the second truck a pedal slide you actually do it faster and the pedal will spin while you do it but I do recommend medal pedals feels and sounds 10x cooler then when you do it with plastic pedals
