Fantastic work! I have never made a comment on best of compilations about an inclusion or exclusion, but the Spirotbox riff had no business amongst the rest of these gems IMO. Anyone watching this should know that any of the rest of Polaris' songs not already included would deserve a third inclusion on the list (or a second Erra one), so a nod to Spiritbox is certainly a worthy use of air time. Oh and am always incredibly impressed with your playing. Hope you are able to achieve all of your goals and dreams with it. Don't know if that might be a legit effort with an original band and worldwide touring with multiple notable album releases, which you are certainly worthy of, but the mandatory touring is also not always desirable for everyone, at least speaking for myself. But if that is a path that you want to go down, I would love nothing more than to see it unfold. Happy New Year.

I have had COB on rotation ever since, usually gets a flog once a month anyway (the music that is, not the um yeah) Was talking to Jacob and agree that Alexi's solo writing was just phenomenal. I remember watching them on a live DVD from 2003, at Tuska, playing playing every time I die. Man I was so blown away. The technical brilliance. It was different, classical and wicked.
