ATTENTION ALL SINGERS!!! These are all great excersises BUT what this channel doesnt explain is keeping your voice healthy and not pushing it far. This channel is most likely for us to conveniently have excersises when we need them but they cant know our limits obvisouly. So what I'm saying is for singers, if your voice EVer feels like its Burning or straining (especially during headvoice or other high notes) you must not attempt to go any higher during that excersise or make sure you're using proper technique. You can seriously damage your vocal chords where you're not making any improvement and sounding consistently worse than you were before. It can even lead to surgery or half a year of resting if you're consistently using bad technique for straining notes. Your voice should NEVER hurt. For new singers out there 🙏🏽

Thanks! I'm a musician and I'm turning into a multi instrumentalist. My main instrument is piano and all my life I wanted to be a pianist until I had absolutely no inspiration to become a pianist. but when I began listening to Chris Martin of the band Coldplay up on stage going back and forth between piano and guitar and singing, I KNEW I that it was my dream to do that... Fast forward to the present in a HUGE Coldplay fan and I'm making great progress on my voice (without killing it with bad technic) and I haven't even gotten a voice coach, which I plan to soon. I started guitar and I'm doing quite well with that as well and I can't wait to see what all this hard work does for me in the future, I'm excited! I'm also 15 fyi lol.

To everyone who's on the verge of losing motivation or struggling with it.....I know its a cliche but this is absolutely vital to strenghten your voice. If you really truly want it deep down to get far with your singing journey and see improvement then you need to push yourself to your limit and stay committed. Stay devoted. I know this has been said over a million times, but sometimes you need to be reminded over and over to really believe it. Trust me, your jaw will drop at the results you achieve after even a short amount of time.

How can I explain that this video is the best thing for singers on KZbin? Let me write a long note :) Earlier this year, I decided to start a metal band and be the lead vocalist (growls and cleans) and I quickly became frustrated for two reasons: (1) I am probably the worst singer in the world, ever - I'm not even trying to exaggerate this. NOBODY can stand my singing, it makes me want to throw up in my own mouth. For this reason, I decided to find a better vocalist to sing my songs but that can really suck as your songs can mean a lot to you. (2) I couldn't find a good vocal coach in my area - most of them didn't even seem to understand what they are teaching. So, one day, I stumbled on this video and I've been practising twice a day (morning and night) since the first of Oct 2019 and the transformation is UNBELIEVABLE (today is the 28th od Oct 2019)... I WANT TO SING ALL THE TIME! I'm like a child that finally got that one toy he's dreamt about all year. It's easy to know that my voice is a lot better because people who used to be trolls now compliment my recordings and are in awe when I sing. I'm more than excited! I'm already building out a studio and getting ready to start producing my own music because the final hurdle has been leaped over! Trust me, it's worth it and you can totally do it, random reader of my comment ;) A HUGE THANK YOU TO THIS CHANNEL, You're the absolute best!

Just wanna say that I, like lots of people here, was afraid to do it when I wasn't alone at home. But I understood if I wanna be a singer n I'm gonna sing in front of thousand people I should get rid of fear to sing when someone hears me. So I was also scared to do these exercises when someone hears me. I was just scared that my parents won't understand me and will laugh at me if they hear me doing these exercises. But one day I was doing this daily work out and I decided to not stop when my Dad comes in my room. So he came in and I didn't stop and u know what happened? Nothing! He didn't laugh, he wasn't like wtf r u doing, girl? and so on. Then we had a chat and he said that he's proud of me that I do this and then when I was left alone at home I was running around the apartment and screaming in a happy way bc I was really happy. Kinda I understood now i don't need to hide from my parents and now i know that they will support me😊 So, if u have the same situation, don't be scared to face ur fear bc sometimes 10 seconds of being brave and strong can incredibly change ur life(ofc in a good way), i promise u. Quick tip for anyone wanting to make a consistent habit, you don’t have to always do the full 30 minute exercise because your mind will obviously procrastinate. You can start with 2 minutes everyday, and you may be asking what is the point if it’s 2 minutes? Well, it helps your brain think oh, it’s pretty easy to do so you will be more motivated to actually do the exercise. Also, once your reach the 2 minute point you could always continue! Hope this helps! Also remember to reward yourself after you’re finished! Edit: Also remember goal setting is important in every learning of skill. Write down a goal and be very specific on what that goal is then plan out how you will achieve it!

These videos have changed my life. I sang opera for four years before leaving it all behind me to go to University for non-music things, and I let my voice collect dust. I would try to sing at karaoke nights, only to be disappointed with how crappy my range had become, and disheartened at how quickly I experienced vocal fatigue. After graduation, I vowed to take my voice (and hydration!) more seriously and have started doing these as often as possible (almost daily). I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my range, airpower, and endurance. I am so grateful to you for helping me maintain my instrument from home (without feeling self-conscious about doing it in silence).

For anyone wondering if this works, I’ve been practicing with this video almost everyday for about a year now and my voice went from trash to fairly decent, which I’m really happy about! I’m confident enough to sing in karaoke apps like Smule and I enjoy listening to myself sing! I’m still not great and I do get off pitch or off tempo, but I’m constantly learning and improving myself. So if you’re reading this and feel like you’re struggling, believe in yourself! Keep pushing and learning how your body works with this vocal warm up! You will get there! :)

Yes you should! I work with a doctor that specializes in Vocal Therapy! Yes!! Therapy! A singer came in for a Vocal cord operation. Over the years she did vocal exercises and started singing a lot. She pushed her voice pass the limit and ended up creating micro tears that ended up ripping one of her left section vocal edges and she keep going! Which eventually gave her “nodes” because of her inability to use the Left section torn off her “vocal tract” and she has gone through surgery in hopes of fixing this. She was a talented singer But she decided TO push hard and she reaps the consequences today.

OH MY GOD I went to a friends birthday, and one of the people there said that "bad singing makes a person so unattractive". Somehow, that really hit me, because I sound absolutely horrible while singing. My voice was cracking constantly I couldn't hit any notes and sounded like a dying cat haha On the day after, the 16th December I decided that I need to work on my voice. So the first week, I did the vocal warm-up and 2 other videos, a total of 10 minutes singing (I skipped a few days in between, because I didn't want to overwork my voice, actually singing for those 10 minutes was super hard for me already, that's how out of exercise my voice was.) I recorded myself singing solfege on day 1, and again on day 5. I improved SO MUCH just by singing warm-up exercises in those few days it is insane. After a week I added the 20 minute daily vocal workout to my routine, so I sang about 30 minutes every day. On day 9 I recorded myself singing solfege again and my voice improved tremendously in like 4 days? It is like magic! Today is the 27th December and I've been doing 10 minute warm-ups and afterwards this video for the past 2 days and I improved a ton again. I can't believe that it is the same person singing in my recording from the first day and now is only day 11 (+I skipped some days for rest) ?? Is this some kind of magic?? You guys PLEASE do this workout after warming up properly and if you're voice feels strained stop and rest the next day! If you push yourself too hard you can damage your voice. Drink lots of tea and water, during the workout as well, you will sound even better. You should try recording yourself singing solfege too every few days, I promise, you'll hear so much improvement pretty fast! I still don't sound good, but my voice sounds BEARABLE that was my first goal. This is amazing! Please keep this up you guys, I believe in you!♡

Lia Gio no brotha, you should do the warm up first to not prejudicate your voice, I was doing this exercise without the warm up, and it makes my voice sounds bad!

I'm a dancer training for a career in musical theatre. I've been singing on and off for the past few years (and as we all know, inconsistency doesn't reap awards), but I started becoming more serious about singing about a year ago. A couple months into quarantine, I decided to become a lot more consistent with my singing practices. I've been doing JVA videos for a few months now. I've decided to start documenting my progress! If anyone's wondering, YES, these exercises are effective, but you have to put in the work to reap the awards. If you've been doing these exercises for awhile, try using different vowels and sounds. It works if you work! Best of luck to you all :) I will continue updating my progress on here.

@@Lol-zs5wh I would say yes!!! This channel has helped me become a lot more comfortable with my voice. My head voice has become stronger because of these exercises. However, it's not a magic wand. Hi to every aspiring singers out there. I've finished my 30 days challenge and I'm gonna share my journey towards the end. I have my routine this was the last part of my routine (vocal warm up --> vocal tone --> daily vocal workout...) so actually this proves everything that you can't have a great stage voice in just 30 days it takes time though my voice improved and I have confident in my voice now. I'm just saying is if you're losing hope that you're voice isn't getting good just keep moving keep practicing keep doing the exercises because it takes time it takes a lot of time for you to have a good voice 30 days challenge will work a little bit though it'll give you more confidence in your singing voice but if you want a stage singing voice you need more time and sacrifices to make. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING I WISH YOU THE BEST SINGER.

guys this is does nothing great. Let me give you an advice. Do the 10 minute warm up, do that Do Re Mi exercise as well. Here comes the singing part. You have to sing aloud with your speaking voice. Sing with the same voice as you speak and freestyle. Add some shakiness in hour voice like ups and downs. I have been doing this since last 3 days and my voice instantly changed. Its alot better

Since were all in the comments let's do some story times! So I've been asking my dad for a kitten for a long time and he finally agreed to let me get one for my birthday (as long as I did all my research) so we went on a website and we found a adorable kitten named Cuddles. I really wanted her but we found out her owner has corona :/ so we looked for a new kitten and we found Buddy! I really loved him but they never replied to our request. Then we found out about this Vet that was fostering kittens and that's when we met Daisy! She is a 9 month old, adorable calico!

31 days, no skipping. I'll share results after every week. (Note that I didn't do warm ups until day 15) Day 1: complete Day 2: complete Day 3: complete Day 4: complete Day 5: complete Day 6: complete Day 7: complete So I'm done with the first week and I have to say that this has definitely been worth it. My voice is stronger and I can sing higher than before. It's nothing extreme, but definitely some improvement! Let's see what the results are after the second week. Day 8: complete Day 9: complete Day 10: complete (By now, my voice doesn't crack as much as before when singing head voice) Day 11: complete Day 12: complete Day 13: complete Day 14: complete Meaning the second week is over. My voice has become stronger and I can reach notes that I couldn't reach before. Considering that I haven't even got to the half of this journey, the improvement is impressing. It's nothing too crazy once again, but definitely worth the practising. Day 15: complete (This time I did a 5 minute vocal warm up before this and I'll do it for the next 16 days as well. I should've done that when I started with this workout but better late than never.) Day 16: complete Day 17: complete Day 18: complete Day 19: complete Day 20: complete Day 21: complete Third week done. To be honest, I haven't noticed much changes, so I can't really say anything. Note that this doesn't necessarily mean that there no changes, it just means I haven't noticed them. 10 days left. Day 22: complete Day 23: complete Day 24: complete (no warm up this time, didn't have the time) Day 25: complete Day 26: complete Day 27: complete Day 28: complete (no warm up) I'm done with the fourth week, and I'm really happy with the development. My voice feels a lot better, more healthy and a lot stronger. This last week brought a couple of positive changes. 3 days left. Day 29: complete Day 30: complete Day 31: complete The journey's over, and my voice has definitely changed for the better. Don't get me wrong, my head voice is still trash though. Might work on falsetto now.

Oh my god i can't believe it's been over a year already, here's an update! So the band hasn't practiced together since I've posted this comment (or around this time) due to covid, the school wouldn't let any after-class activities take place I'm still singing on and off now as i don't have as much time on my hands to practice anymore but i've gotten much much better, i've been singing for fun at different online singing contests and that's been going pretty successful everytime! My vocal control is good, my runs are clean and my vocal transitions rarely fail :DD i'm currently learning how to harmonise and it's going good aswell! This daily workout was definitely super helpful for the first couple of months/my first year of singing and it's a good thing to do as i come back to singing after taking a long break. This has helped me the most on my journey of learning how to sing

30 days of the 20 min exercise: ✅ I rested for 3 days in between these 30 days 30 days of this exercise + daily vocal tone + riffs and runs(normal): ✅ I rested for 2 days this month I guess Edit 1: My voice is so fucking good now, will keep doing it till I'm satisfied🙌🏻. The tone exercise helped me slove the mistakes I committed while doing the exercises, it sounds crisp and powerful now Another 2 months of warm up+ daily exercise+ tone+ cooldown. Sometimes I do extra exercises in between like the straw one or the full length resonance exercise Edit 2: Another month done and I finally recorded my first song
