This is solid. Can crank and still tickle the drivers nose behind you at a stop light but not breaking door frames or windows. Props to this man. That bass test should be done with a lot more peoples cars for the vids imo. Good setup. Makes me want to put a similar set up in my Honda. 👍🏽great vid

Man I am so glad you started to do your analysis in these videos... I stopped watching for the longest because you quit doin them... Id say at least 60% of my advanced knowledge in the field came from your videos man.. Not only good car audio content... But this is what youtube is all about man... QUALITY KNOWLEDGE being passed on... Cheers brother.

Thanks for the upload man. I've been watching demos for a very long time between buids. A young & old man's system. I saw this video & I still feel shock and awe. A big + for fabrication & originally! I think it maybe time for a hard top bed cover. My friend went from knowing very little to competing on an over 1000 watts SQ system. He had one thing going for him that you don't see anymore for a build similar to yours. His 1990's system was completely 100 % in stealth. That's too far over my head to include in such a build today.

Yeah that's what I was saying he's got a lot of output he's losing due to that Flex. I mean yeah it looks cool but you can go in and do two layers of 3/4 MDF on top of that and then cut in some some windows say like three different ones three Subs three Windows yeah that would look cool and then one in the center just make them a lot smaller I mean you know what I'm saying it look cool too still be flush but just take out some of that lexan he'd be amazed how much harder that thing is going to hit

In the meantime I bet if he did some plexi rod supports in there it would go a long way, not to mention, if he did some LED lighting in the box it would look super sick going up and down the rods.

I had to 15w ones back in the day in a fourth order and a back of a Mazda pickup like that and had Plexi instead of lexan and it broke and it was flexing a little bit too and then I just did a solid piece of inch and a half MDF on top of it and of course remove the Plexi and it made a huge difference in the output yours looks good but I'm sure you're losing a lot on the output due to the flex but I mean damn how much more do you want that thing is kicking now for real

Can somebody help me understand how this box works? Like where does the air from the subs facing each other goes
@JacobViral2 жыл бұрын
That’s the sealed section of the 4th order box layout. Alll the pressure/air goes through the port.

bad ass but that box is about to let loose I'm actually doing a blow thru in a 01 crew cab . if he takes like 1.5 " wide flat plat steel over the framing of that box and center with bolts every 8 inches it would go a long way
@TheAceTroubleshooter2 жыл бұрын
I was thinkin plexi rod supports, like 3in diameter, thatd help a lot. ANd would be sick for LED lighting if he decided to go that route. I was getting gear together to do a 10k blow threw in my f150... till my old lady totaled it recently.... :(

@@josegiraldez6230 yeah.. I loved that truck.. was the nicest vehicle I've ever owned.. anyway... Checkout Soundmans blow threw he did for his f150 with the single 13w7. Super minimal intrusion threw the cab, and he eventually covered up those holes good enough that CarMax didn't even notice it when he sold it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ lolol. Besides. Aeroports > slot ports in EVERY scenario in my opinion... They are so much less of a hassle to build, design, and you can diy the flares on them so easily it's silly. And for whatever reason.. they legit sound better to me. I'm no master builder though, I've only got a couple dozen box builds under my belt, of my own design. Installed a million damn prefab boxes.. maybe that's where my bias is coming from? 乁( •_• )ㄏ

What if you want to listen to actual music? Not a low end demo that rattles your brains and makes you deaf for no reason at all? How does it sound then ? When I'm driving down the road I don't listen to. BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM. Makes no sense to me at all. I have a nice system in my car that's loud and clear. Only 2 Kicker 10s with 2 Kicker amps. A monoblock that drives the low end and a 4-channel that runs the mids and the highs. Didn't need to upgrade my electrical system or destroy any passenger space.
