@@compcast I mean I did build a very similar box in a much smaller car 20 cubes for 2 18s and I have mids(12s) in a pod that fits behind the seats of my Veloster and can recline the seats and chill I'm 6ft and sit comfy with my wall subs don't smack the seat..I guess being able to read a tape measure was useful🤷🏾‍♂️

I think one of his direct leads is lose but who knows I got one hdx3 18 and its by far the best sounding subwoofer around. Mine can hit 15hz for along time and still not blow and its on 2200rms watts! I got stock electrical. Then again his woofers never moved as mutch as mine so maby he has his subsonic filter on way to high but who knows. Least this affordable subwoofer has a recone kit if it dose fail. Jacob can I have a shout out! Your channel is the best way to see a lot of different systems and setups.😀

@@RyanBassForLife oh yeah that explains it! I'm tryna decide to get an agm for 2k watts myself. Lil tip to find out how much your batteries/alternator need to put out incase you haven't already found out... Take your watts, 2k, and ÷ by 12 (volts) = 180 (amps) now calculate inefficiency of the amplifier (20% for class d monoblocks) 180 ÷.2 = 200 (amps). Your charging system requires 200 amps just to run the sound system, not counting what your vehicle uses to maintain (50amps is a good estimate for that). So to efficiently run 2k watts your looking at needing a supply of 250amps. An easier calculation without having to do amplifier inefficiency is just... Total watts ÷ 10 (volts) = amperage required from charging system. Also, for batteries. You'll want to be looking at Ah (amp hours). Basically in short it means how many amps that battery will put out for 1 hour before it needs to be recharged ( by a battery charger, NOT your alternator!) (Alternator is to maintain batteries, not to charge them!) Dont know if any of this helps, but it sure woulda helped me a while back. Gl and awesome build keep it up aswell as the vids bro!!! One more thing though, the more and more and more you dive into this and find out what it all really takes...the more and more money you'll spend....might just be better off ignoring me and being happy with what you got if that works lol, but your alternator will crap out eventually, depending on how much of a lucky beating it can take.

I have a very similar 2 18 box..def shouldnt have put the seats back like that ..that is nice but should have allowed more space esp given size of vehicle.. considering my wall is 20 cubes in a Veloster and I can move seat back all the way and not touch subs..just something to think about 🤔hell I even have 12 inch mids behind the seat .so I'm wondering what the builders thoughts were.🤦🏾‍♂️

Soundqubed for the win regardless what happen to this system. Maby 2500 real rms watts and that high note was to mutch. Could of been clipping and also clipping the back of them seats. Still love soundqubed. I got one 18 hdx3 and it dose fine so far no wall.

Low voltage clipped it to death maybe? Those rail voltage amps rely on the charging system alot more than a regular amp.

@@mikehause6585 brazillian full bridge amps only have 2 or 3 capacitors whereas all the other half bridge dezign amps have alot. Capacitors store voltage kind of like a battery and send it to the output section of the amp. Although the fullbridge amp is more efficient at making wattage it can put more of a strain on your electrical when its providing the wattage on those heavy bass notes because they still operate all the way down to 10 volts before they go into protect. That alone can kill batteries and alternators. Its not a big deal though you just make sure you have the proper electrical feed them, just like any other amp.

You are correct. I took them out and both coils unwound. He knows now to put seats forward. Wont matter now I just built a 4th order in there lol so no subs to hit with seat

Poor owner got a shitty title for his video, and his system took a shit at the end. It's all good though. Don't even push you're system more than you know you should just to make for a great video. Try to impress someone, especially Jacob, but I will admit, I'm guilty of doing it as well. As we know, these videos do no system any justice whatsoever anyway. Jacob puts out some quality, in depth explanation of a competition system from top to bottom. He is a character to say the least, but you gotta give respect where respect is due.
