I ran 2 15 in PYLE DRIVERS behind my rear seat back in 1989 . Push them with a ESS 300 watt amp . The PYLES lasted 10 years of abuse( the paper and foam crumbed) .I still have the 300 watt amp . Running 6x9s. 30 yrs later still going strong. I be 60 this year . Memories 😊

@@TimpBizkit 😊 with this 300 watt ess early 90s amp it pushes real power . I ran also 4 tens (no box open behind my seat ). And my trunk was ready to fly off (use to run my system for 5-6 hours of cruising. )It’s been a great amp . And still kicking .💕

It's surprising what cheap subs can do. Me and a friend had 4 50 dollar jbl 10s that we broke a 150db with (in the kick). This was back in 2016. But really most cheap subs could do the same in a good box.

Sure it's not cracking windows but that is loud not to mention the addition of mids and highs . Im not saying it is record breaking but your average Joe can get this type of set up and be happy

Right now I got 3 Pyle 15’s and it metered a 144.1 @ 45hz 750 watts clamped, outlaw in the kick inside my Tahoe 0 deadener or cabin mods, gonna try for a 150 with 8 hifonics hfx 12’s on a lot more power

Thats the best budget setup ive seen. He done an amazing job, its as clean as it gets! Ive been thinking bout doing this with the Harmony Audio Monolith subs, wanting to put 4 of the Monolith 15s on my Salt 4 and see how long they last and compare them to the two Zv.5 12s i have now on the Salt4. I installed a setup about 2 years ago in my friends Jeep Cherokee, it has 4 of the cheap Mtx Terminator 12s on a Soundstream RN1.3000 getting about 1800 rms, and its sounds good and still works well, 2 years later.

What frequency is your box tuned to? How big is the box? These two things alone have a huge impact as to how low a set up will play. Sound deadening could help, but I doubt the difference would be Audible enough to make a huge difference. in general= lower tuning, bigger box= better performance at lower frequencies.

Double your subs and power ~ +6dB all else being equal. Until you have so many subs crammed in the car that you can't get the efficiency gains anymore due to air compression. By then your ears and body need a break, or you need stronger motors to increase the "compression ratio".

I bought the 10s just to play with 4 years ago, got 2-$19 and honestly they were fun and didn't sound terrible. I put too many watts to them blowing one but it was fun. I'm playing with the Walmart Kicker Comp now

I was gonna put a link or two to specifically go to 6-packs of these speakers but you can just type in PYLE PLPW12D at (wherever) and go from there. By sort-of discrediting these subs a little, they're probably 'flying off the shelves'! It's not the size of the magnet - it's the sh** (Yeah, I know, lol) that you stick to it. Plastic basket, hung up on one finger? Innovative! Shipping? Minimal! I had 4 Pyle 12-inchers side by side in a 4-foot-wide box many years ago that was sealed but not divided; I realize or BELIEVE now that each sub has its own minute parameters and will react slightly differently from the others when hit with the same exact signal. Agree? Disagree?...and if you know of one that is multiple but individually-ported, I'd love to see that and now, I'm thinking of getting Pyles again, but just when I need to. 🔈🔉 🔊

Sundowns are for power density. The amount you can cram into a small airspace is a lot, but you will need more amplifier power. The good news is that a multiple driver setup is efficient due to speaker coupling, so then you end up with a big high headroom box that takes a ton of power and keeps getting louder. They probably make awesome horn bass drivers too.

Sounds about right. I had 4 pyle bluewave 12s on about 1600w doin 42-43 @44hrz one seal prefab, one ported prefab box. Poor mans 4th lmao. Sound great on music with kicker coaxial 6x9s, 6.5s, and 5.25s.

I have also seen them put 10k watts on 8 s pyles try to blow em and guess what they did not blow the handled it and seen another youtuber put 5k on 3inch pyle subs and handled it aventually they popped but it just ripped the wire from the back he taped it back and boom it went to playing again never smoked just rip the wire i did it on 15s just ripped the wire gave em to my friend he still bumpin with it taped right now
