I heard this guy’s system in person and I was very impressed. Windy, loud and deep hitting bass. It was shaking doors and all. The guy was able to have his alternator voltage at 16 volts when I was in the truck.

i have a feeling it sounded more like 12s lol defiantly looks like they getting the power they need i like the little extended cab builds small cabin should get hi numbers im thinking on doing a 3 12 build in extended subs up to not sure if i could fit 4 12s might be able to but port wouldent be able to be up

That's false there ratted for a burp power of 8k max there rms 2k all the versions where ratted this way only difference was the black cone vs the silver cone was the coil temp the sliver comes where not really good for high power so Alot of people called them burp subs because they would blow up on 4200 watts each so yes I can see what your saying

I just bought a skar triple 12 box and have 3 in it. I have a extra 12 and thinking I might just use both my dual 12 boxes and hook them up to my amp so instead of three I will have 4 12s

Orion subs are like sundown you can over power them and feed each 10 a extra 1000 watts plus a lil extra they will last for a good while.

Need to take impedance rise into account! A lot of people forget it exists and think they're getting the full power everytime. On certain frequencies he may get close to 12k but not exactly that much power. I run the MD8k 2ohm model and my clamp showed at most 7400 rms because i was rising to 2.8-3.3 ohms wired @ 2 ohms.

Yea there ratted at 2k rms but there also ratted at an operating wattage of 4k rms so witch is it lmfao I already know which one they are able to handle is 4500 bed re smelling 4k is pushing them really hard and 2500 is thee sweet spot not overpowered and they sound good at 2500 watts also

Box style like this is great if sealing around the box all the way around. If open box then side port with the space between panel.
