That chain looks great! In my opinion the 5mm to 7mm is the sweet spot for everyday wear when it comes to a Miami Cuban, jacoje sells some amazing jewelry, I have the 3.5mm white gold rope chain and it really blows my mind that his quality is probably one of the best there is!

On neck it looks very similar to your 5mm plain franco. It’s a very nice chain but in my opinion I feel your 5.5mm Flat Curb has a greater presence in width and shine factor. It’s still a wonderful chain to add to your collection, thanks for sharing. 👍🏼👏🏼

Yeah Man the thinner rope chains shine more then the thicker ones if Im being honest, I purchased 8MM rope from Jacoje and its really nice but my 3 and 5mm have more of a sparkle and glisten since it has more twists, now that I have this 8mm Im kinda thinking I should of gotten Two 5mm same length and layered them, it would be way more sparkling, Im gonna get a lady Fortuna large pendant for my 8mm and just wear it on special occasions and stack the thinner ropes

They are very different, hbut I can tell you this... From 12 feet away the cuban will look like a herringbone because the links are so tight,but the flat curb will have the cuban link appearance even from a distance,if you could afford it id eventually get both.

Beautiful chain. I think the miami cubans actually show off the gold coloring the best of any style chain, because of that large surface area with mirror like polished finish. There are other cuts that show off shine better but the miami coloring are 🔥

Hello. It’s not a “Miami Cuban” unless made in Miami 😉 5mm is too small for you. At minimum you should look at a 7mm. Get one by Reys Gold and Cash out of Miami. They make great links. What you purchased was machine made. Nice chain but I know you will be upgrading. 😁
