Much like his father, Jacques is a legend. He's won the Indy 500, F1 World Championship, and got second place overall at the 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans. He has truly continued his legendary father's legacy, and may he have more success in the future!

He also seems like a smart guy, and he's even good looking too! (why are all of these F1 drivers so good looking?! Is there some kind of unwritten rule?)
@jesseemullen2 жыл бұрын
It's funny because he almost has a reputation as being a controversial figure, but when you see him interviewed and is allowed to express his thoughts in full (beyond headlines), he comes accross as kind, reflective, and quite intelligent. Wonderful grand prix driver too (at least for the first two years)

Like his personality, determination and confidence. What I love about him is the positive attitude to take challenges. A very unique driver online his own from the new fan from Indonesia.

THE MOST ENTERTAINING DRIVER TO EVER RACE IN F1 HISTORY

um... you never saw his dad race? He was 1000X the driver JV could ever hope to be.

@@johnandrews3568 Um … did Gilles ever win a world championship? Did Gilles ever win at Indy? Did Gilles ever take part in the 24hrs at Le Mans race (and manage to finish 2nd in his first attempt). No, but his son did. That comparison is so old and tired - give it up.

I see the same tires old comparisons between Jacques and his father. But did Gilles ever win a world championship? Did Gilles ever win at Indy? Did Gilles ever take part in the 24hrs at Le Mans race (and manage to finish 2nd in his first attempt)? No, but his son did. Gilles was a brilliant driver, but so was his son.
@johnandrews356825 күн бұрын
@@fifthbusiness1678 Nope, JV was just gifted the best cars on the grid EVERY TIME. DO you remember his BAR days? Total crap driver. Ferrari gave Gilles mostly Dump trucks and he could podium and win and FWIW Gilles could have become WC in '79 had he decided to NOT follow team orders. He's 1000X the driver his slacker, spoiled kid ever could be.

@Biodom15 жыл бұрын

Why do french people get offended when you dont do something they're way, if he wants to have the name of his restarauant a english version, ITS HIS DECISION!
@syncmonism4 жыл бұрын
It's not ALL French people. Far from it in fact. Even the ones who said that they thought it should be in french may not actually be upset about it, rather just expressing an opinion about what they think it should be. It doesn't mean that they're "upset". I lived in Montreal for nearly a decade, and I had many separatist friends, and every single one of them was very chill and didn't even seem to mind that my french was terrible. The French (or "Quebecois") there were overall very chill. You might want to look up "false polarization effects" to learn more.
