An excellent documentary. I have a painting that i bought from Jacquin in Paris 30 years ago. It hangs in my living room and i love it as much now as when i bought it. Wonderful!!!!

I have just met Jacquin, what an encounter. Such a connexion. I bought him a small painting. Very close to the one he paints 'live" in this documentary. I'm looking forward to meet him again and buy hime more of his beautiful work. :)

I've seen some superb portraits drawn by fellow artists at Montmartre...and sadly many little masterpieces have gone unrecorded...not even photograhed. I started filming the artists simply because their work shouldn't be lost to posterity.In 50 years time the current crop of painters and portraitists won't be around anymore.There isn't even any guarantee that the place du tertre will still be there in its present format,so I encourage everyone to film the sq.while we still can.
