Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my channel! I am very happy you are here!
In this video, I wanted to share my first day returning to Jacumã after having last visited here four years ago. Like anything else, some things changed others did not. While I enjoyed my drive from João Pessoa, I arrived at high tide with only a few hours of daylight remaining. Like always, I tried to make the most out of the opportunity.
It didn't take long to notice differences from my first visit 4 years ago-more construction, new businesses, more tourists, vendors, retail stores, sidewalk bars, and tour buses. Jacuma had grown up since I first left here. The secret is out. While the town’s fishing-village roots are still obvious, so too are the signs of increased tourism. Only time will tell how the area will balance protecting the natural environment and generating tourism revenue.

Neste vídeo, gostaria de compartilhar meu primeiro dia voltando a Jacumã depois de ter visitado aqui pela última vez há quatro anos. Como qualquer outra coisa, algumas coisas mudaram, outras não. Enquanto aproveitei minha viagem de carro de João Pessoa, cheguei na maré alta com apenas algumas horas de luz do dia restantes. Como sempre, tentei aproveitar ao máximo a oportunidade.
Não demorei muito para perceber as diferenças em relação à minha primeira visita, quatro anos atrás - mais construções, novos negócios, mais turistas, vendedores, lojas de varejo, bares nas calçadas e ônibus de turismo. Jacumã cresceu desde que saí daqui. O segredo está fora. Embora as raízes da vila de pescadores da cidade ainda sejam óbvias, também o são os sinais de aumento do turismo. Só o tempo dirá como a área equilibrará a proteção do ambiente natural e a geração de receita turística.
