The swirly projectile with no hands on the inside is accurate to how Ryu's hadouken looks in Super Street Fighter II Turbo (and subsequently Ultra Street Fighter II), so if you want to get really technical it's more "correct" for an USF2 version than the traditional projectile we got with the original release. I don't care much about projectile accessories personally but I think it's cool that between the two figures we've got both designs covered.

The brown gloves are correct for the in game sprite as well as his SF4 model. He had red gloves in alpha, and in the artwork for SF2 ultra but brown in game, so there’s no wrong answer lol

Yang is my favorite SF character. Great aesthetic and love the pressure you can put on someone with him. Perfect rush down character in USFIV. Corner combos are cheap af too

Evil Ryu is a lovely variant. The darker colour scheme looks smashing! My favourite Street Fighter character happens to be Ryu. Yes, I am a rather boring old bloke. 😅 But M.Bison would be a close second, followed by Akuma. Brilliant review, Mister Anthony! 👏👍🤘 Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧

My favorite characters are Blanka, Dhalsim, and Vega. I could never understand why people loved playing Ryu, Ken, and Guile so much- they're just regular guys, give me the crazy looking ones. This is such a good line. I only played Street Fighter in the arcade or when visiting the couple friends who had it, but I'm definitely going to pick some of them up. I was already planning to get the Storm Blanka when it released, but I might just pick up my 3 favorite characters and have $25 to spare with the Jada line instead, as long as Blanka isn't like 6" tall. The Storm version just looks like a better SHF, but I don't really like the face or colors of either release that much.

Absolutely Love that Jada have produced an Evil Ryu! The figure looks awesome and the colour scheme is true to the gameplay 👌🏼.. I really hope this means we eventually get an Akuma, Gouken and Violent Ken 🙏🏼

Another great looking figure from Jada. Hasbro take note, you can have ultra posable action figures with extra paint, hands heads effects and stands, and not charge a king's ransom. I think I like the look of this better than the original Ryu. I've seen another reviewer take the tape off the broken sign and manage to stand it without it falling apart. I can't remember which reviewer. It may jave been Baldylocks.

Question: My favourite SF character is probably R Mika, the mechanic they added in 5 with the vtrigger/assist wrestler jumping in was great, kinda meh in Alpha 3 though. From the new characters in 6, I think Lily is pretty fun, maybe just cause there's no T Hawk but it's close enough 😅 I also love evil versions of characters, I'm hoping Jada do Violent Ken in the future, I'd get that immediately.

My fave is Chun-Li. If I'm playing competitively with friends, I use Ryu. Hadouken effect I believe is accurate for original Ryu with hands in the "fireball". I believe that's unique to him. I'm wondering if these companies make things wrong to avoid 100% accurate interpretations so we keep dipping into our wallets for the next version.
