Wow.. I have a tangerine tree that's been planted in a raised bed next to the property wall... The soil there is really hard red clay and did not have any conditioning in years.. You'd need a pick axe to try and till it... after 2 successive JMS treatments and deep watering.. I can stick a flimsy mulberry stick 1cm thick into the soil over a foot.. it's crazy.. other parts of the garden that I had been actively composting etc.. it's rather easy to just dig up some dirt with your hand.... the soil is like a sponge.. I'd bet you'd get away with making an awesome no till bed starting on rock hard sun baked clay soil. Just apply some JMS treatments and the cover with a thick carpet of compost.

Is it that only anaerobic bacteria work in the root zone, but this must be happening at deeper levels, at upper levels, close to ground surface aerobic bacteria must also be contributing, so, should we not trigger such a microbiology that will take care of nurturing both, aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.

Thank you for your wonderful videos. I have been using my Jadam Fertilizer for about two years with success. This year I made and used JMS for the first time instead of LAB and I can say my tomato harvest was amazing. It was better than in past years. We had 6 weeks of 33.6 degrees C and all my tomato blossoms fell off. I only had another 6 weeks after that to finish the growing season. You could see about 2 feet on the plants where all the blossoms fell off, however, in the last 6 weeks of our growing season, blossoms and fruit production came back with a vengeance. Thank you for this truly remarkable method of productive yet inexpensive farming. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. May my Lord Jesus bless you all, keep you, make His light shine on you and be gracious to you.

I stabilize my JMS by mixing it with a carb substrate like milled chicken scratch. When the solution is at it's peak add it to a pile of chicken scratch mixing well and turning daily to keep the temp below 120 Fahrenheit similar to IMO3 in traditional KNF. When it's cool and dry store it in a burlap bag and spread it whenever you need it ideally before rain to take it deep down. Works great when planting.

More out-of-the-box thinking: Could JMS be used to transform a family's septic tank into a human-excrement JLF tank? That is, could you occasionally pour undiluted JMS into your septic tank to cause its contents to decompose more rapidly such that the output from the tank is composed of more plant-available nutrients? Do you think that -- or something similar -- would work?

Jms i zeytinlere deneme bahçemde temmuz 2022 den itibaren uyguladım. Taban arazi, denize 800 metre mesafede kumlu toprak.

Thanks for the great videos and for your book! I have used lacto-bacillus organisms for years. I tried my first JMS this past week. I got the leaf mold from the bottom of a nearby mountain, boiled potatoes and added sea salt. The first 18 hrs. nothing happened. I think maybe I didn't do a good job of getting the correct leaf mold so, I took the liberty of putting in about a quarter cup of fermented Lacto-bacillus and some of your JMF that I made out of comfrey, sedum, leaf mold and sea salt. Eighteen hours late I had bubbles all over the place. Yesterday I applied it my 1100 sq. ft. garden and followed up with watering. I'm in Pennsylvania, USA and we're in the midst of a drought. Although I water weekly, I've had to throw away about 10 tomatoes (32 plants total growing in in my garden) due to blossom end rot. I'm excited to see what happens and how my plants react. I gave some JMF fertilizer to a friend and he said his plants experienced a growth spurt. That didn't surprise me. I made it in a 32 gallon trash can and have enough to share liberally with my gardening friends. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful work. May my Lord Jesus bless you and keep you. May His face shine on you and may he be gracious to you.

There is a few things you guys are wrong about. The first thing is fruit trees when healthy don’t attract pests. But when ripe naturally attracts animals to disperse seed. Secondly, wood chips do not compact even when using it as a parking lot it still stays unpacked. I think you thought wood chips didn’t work because you didn’t give it enough time. For wood chips to truly start to kinda peek it takes at least 5 years plus. But I’m thankful for all the information you share, none the less.

Wood chips come in many forms...if from sawmill it can be from wood of very hard nature ..which take long long time to ' digest'...if from chipper of farm waste ( bushes and small trees) tend to be soft and fast to decay. I am using young acacia trees...so rather fast to rot .

If I can ask one more question: when the water temperature in the tank drops below 18 deg Celsius some time during the night does this only make the process longer? or the JMS won't work any longer? this is to avoid using Resistance during Spring time here, because we have no electricity and we will have to buy a generator and use fuel for this. Appreciate your comments. Thanks a lottt again!!!!

For JMS to be produced well, the water temperature must be above 20 degrees even at night. Even if the daytime temperature rises to 18 degrees, progress will be made to some extent. It takes 2-3 days to complete.

What role does salt play in the mixture? I think that lots of people are puzzled by the use of salt as in general, most plants don't grow well in sodium laced soil. 500g of salt in 500L of water is 1000ppm. Even after 100x dilution, it is still 10ppm. Every time you apply the solution, the salt accumulates in soil. It doesn't decompose.
@JADAMORGANIC
@JADAMORGANIC 2 жыл бұрын
Adequate amounts of sea salt provide important mineral nutrients necessary for the growth of microorganisms. This amount is not harmful to the soil. If you are concerned, you can also culture microorganisms without adding sea salt.

My question is: Is JMS really the right way to cultivate all the microbes from the leaf mold. Does it not just cultivate those microbes that feed best on the starch? So if my soil is not degraded, could JMS actually be disturbing the microbes existing in the soil already? Wouldn't mulching with leafs and leaf mold create a more complete microbial ecosystem?
@JADAMORGANIC
@JADAMORGANIC 3 жыл бұрын
Mulching with leaf molds is also possible, but leaf molds made in the mountains for hundreds of years will be damaged. So I decided to use a little leaf mold. The best way to do this is to use both boiled potatoes and the mouth of the crop. I agree with your opinion.

Another question: In the lecture, you say "Try the diluted leafmold soil or capsule it. It may be uncomfortable at first, but after a few trials, you will realize how beneficial it is, and that it has a great effect" and "You can also mix with the drinking water of your livestock." And in the main JADAM book, you say "JMS can be fed to animals", and "Dilute it ×20 with water and feed the animals." Conceptually this is equivalent to fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) for animals, so it could be very beneficial indeed. Perhaps the "authorities" would frown upon this, but I'm still curious: Have you tried drinking JMS (diluted or undiluted) yourself? Did it do anything good?
@JADAMORGANIC

A person I follow did this for a 5 gals says: 1 cup of leaf mold soil 1 medium (think “lemon-sized”) organic white or red potato, boiled 1 tablespoon of fine sea salt 4 gallons of rain water or water from the tap that has been left to sit for 24 hours in advance* For a two gallon watering can, I add one pint of leaf mold tea and then fill the can the rest of the way with plain water. You can dilute the tea more or less as desired. I like to apply the tea drench to already-moist soil, so either after a rain or on freshly irrigated beds. Happy New Year - may it be a good year for people and planet! Thank you for these informative and wonderful lectures. However, it doesn't prevent me from trying the JMS for the first time on my no dig plot with bought compost on top of many of my beds. All the best
@JADAMORGANIC
@JADAMORGANIC 11 ай бұрын
Most of the soil is anaerobic. Is anaerobic bad? Most of the effective microorganisms we know are anaerobic bacteria. Lactic acid bacteria, photosynthetic bacteria, Bacillus subtilis, and yeast are anaerobic bacteria. Alcohol, bread, and all fermented foods around the world are made under anaerobic conditions, and the digestive systems of all living things are anaerobic.

I have went through all of your lectures and even read your book. There is one thing which is bothering me too much and it is excessive use of salt. I mean in every application of JADAM solutions there is at least 500g of salt going into the land, and you advise to use these solutions 3 to 4 time a month (around 2 kg per month for 0.25acers land if we use JMS). and then occasionally throughout the season until the harvesting is done. then on page 216-217 there is additional 1.5kg seasalt along with JMS. So if its a six months crop then would I be adding 10 to 15kgs of salt? how will it not lead to salinity of soil? and how much salt is considered too much salt for it to become poison for the land? Sea-salt show highest concentration of Na (sodium) , where does that goes?
@JADAMORGANIC

Please remember that farming is actually better at the seaside. Excessive salt is harmful to crops, but the right amount is very helpful for crop growth. Korea's National Institute of Agricultural Sciences has published dozens of papers promoting its effectiveness in seawater and crops.

Thank you for the video, I used JMS to grow pumpkins watering in a few times before planting and also spraying on the leaves.The plants grew really fast and healthy however some of the leaves developed signs of too much nitrogen with the stem splitting open near the top of the leaf I use no manure or any other source of N. Do you think I may have applied too much JMS to the soil and to the leaves as well? And would it be more useful to apply JMS in the fall before the next years planting ?

The use of JMS when the soil is nutrient-rich may cause temporary overgrowth. However, with continuous use, the bloating phenomenon does not occur. It is also good to use in the fall.
