Another thing which meszmerize me is: how little she uses the vibrato. I love that. Its different - and it makes her voice so much clear and it goes deeper into the soul. She uses vibrato, but barely - at very few points. And thats one of many things which make her sound different than other singers. A lot of singers overuse vibrato (the vibrato is often advertised as ''more vibrant, lifelike'' ) - but its often not necessary , and even if its useful here and there, it has to be weighted : 'what lets the voice be more effectful'' .. Its also interesting, that Jade varies her vibrato her and there... mostly when she uses it, its almost not hearable. In this song there was only one point were she used a heavy vibrato , and that was at the end at 3:42 ( ''controoool'' ) - there were smaller vibratos at 2:10 .. The thing with her voice is: it really fits that she isnt using vibrato.. her voice sounds so much pure that way. The same way as Karen Carpenter .. a voice like silk (Jades Voice is much more sharper, but its still beautiful in her own way). Today i only know two voices which are that interesting and beautiful : Jades voice, and the voice of Janet Devlin.

I feel like they chose this song for her bc she fears losing control. Which is the opposite of what u say. U are right she had great voice control. But remember the voice? Insecurity...she didn't move at all the audition. And now she's feeling the music. Even a small hand gesture shows she's working it and losing control now. This song spoke to her bc she was afraid to lose control...which is why she is such a good singer..double edge sword!
