You save yourself 1 molly and 2 K wood

So the raiders can't greid your base unless they raid the very first one you placed or all outcs to take full control

Exactly, they need to raid all tc's to grief and place tc. If they just raid the core tc they can't place tc Then you just disconnect all tc's with a few wood and just place new tc on the core
