In order to view the secret ending you actually have to answer the three questions correctly based on who was asking said question, ex. Roxas asked what you’re afraid of, is basically asking what he was afraid of which was losing something important to him

Fun fact: Young Xehanort was a secret boss in Birth By Sleep. You didn’t fight him before moving onto the next game, but if you had, his grand reveal here would’ve been a lot more impactful.

I love how the master's scene contrasts with the one from BBS honnestly Like in BBS only Aqua gets it and terra immediatly shuts down and doesn't even look happy for Aqua... But here only Riku gets it and the first thing Sora does is look happy for him and congratulate him

Here's another friendly reminder hehe first watch DDD's secret ending on KZbin. The requirements are also kinda long lol. Then watch the movie KH X Back Cover, it's only an 1 hour long, so you can do that in one video. Then finally play 0.2 Birth by Sleep, which it's only about 2-3 hours long. I'm only suggesting this way because Back Cover leads directly to 0.2 BBS and 0.2 BBS directs to KH3. It's just makes more sense this way. Again, order is goes like this, DDD's Secret Ending KH X Back Cover KH 0.2 BBS KH3. Don't worry, you can finish both the movie and 0.2 long before FFVII Rebirth comes out. 😆 They're ain't too long. Don't worry about all the mobile games and it's story. You can worry about that after done with KH3 and Melody of Memory. They are more related and important towards KH4. Again no spoilers ;)

I would absolutely add the start of KH X [chi] before watching KH X back cover, Damo's video is perfect since it tell you exactly when to stop and play the movie or KH3. Large chunks of the KH X\union X story came out before KH3 or Back Cover released. Also Back Cover is a different perspective on the KH X story NOT a summary of the mobile games. What you recommended is not correct and kinda like playing 358 before KH2 .

@@Alpenmilch oh I know that but I think X back cover movie pretty much covers everything and everyone that appears in KH3. It's hard to explain myself fully without bringing up any light or heavy spoilers, for Jade's sake. Basically everything and everyone that shows up in the back cover movie, shows up in KH3. I know it's not a summary movie and but gives the player the general gist of it. I think you don't need to watch union X, just yet. I completely agree she should watch the union X dubbed movie one day but it's best AFTER dark seeker saga is over. Think about this way, after she's done, she'll be more intrigued about the X[chi] saga after she's done with KH3, in my opinion anyway. I suggested this way to all my friends who never played KH before and they all agreed with me. making her watch hours long movies with tons of lore and information before kh3 doesn't sound very fun. Heck, even back when the game was playable, I found that way less fun lol union X was very tedious and very "fillery". Haha.

Yeah I get what you are saying but isn't it up to her to decide? Why tell to skip something that the community was eating up update after update? Sorry but KHX does more for the lore than any other game in the series, calling it filler is just wrong. As nomura would say there are no sidegames/spin offs every title is important. The best approach is following the release order, if you want to experience the story the way it was told orginally. I Have to disagree with your take, you are saying to skip it for now altough it does explain some of the event that happen in KH3. I've seen other blind playthroughs skipping it only for later to complain that KH3 has "plot holes" 🤷‍♂

A lot of little things to notice. After you defeated the Guardian Heartless, notice how he extended his hand like he’s trying to summon a Keyblade and Riku summons his Keyblade and repeats what he told Terra when they met in Destiny Islands in BBS. Xehanort in his little monologue basically said that the previous attempts to summon Kingdom Hearts weren’t the right way to go and that this time he will get it right. When Sora is in deep sleep in the Mysterious Tower, doesn’t he mirror Ventus after he defeated Ventus in BBS? With everyone around him worried sick just like Ventus?
