Check out my “Blues Record!” 😂 You wanted me to paint an album so here you go. A full Mandala Dot Art Tutorial on a Vinyl Record Album. This will also work for canvas! What a great way to ♻️ up cycle records! I was reluctant to do this but I’m so glad I did… it was a wonderful dotting surface and looks really nice. Thank you all for pushing me to do this. Hi Lisa 😍 Thank you ♥️ you can add flow aid to the paint which really helps it “flow.” Also… I’ve learned to touch the surface lightly. It’s a lot of practice and I’m still learning.

Beautiful!!! I have painted many vinyl records, but never as beautiful as this. I just may have to dust off my work area and get back to painting. (struggling with inspiration and get up and go) but that is another story. You do not realize how much you inspire and give me hope. Thank you for all you do and for your beautiful art. I can not seem to pick up my brushes lately and do not know whats wrong, but I am going to keep watching as you always give me hope and inspiration.

I've been doing fluid art on albums for a few years, I put round stickers over the hole. Just recently started dotting because I have no place to make a mess right now😂. Thanks for teaching us how to dot!!!! Love your creativity!!❤❤❤

The Blues Record video is really pretty and fun - your process amazes me and the music is very calming. It came out awesome. Ever think of using old cds? Have a pretty silvery surface...I always hated to throw them away lol. Rock on Girl -- you are doing great!

Hi I have been doing these for a while now the nice part is you can paint the other side with a different design then when you hang them up if you get bored with one you can just flip it over 😊😊😊

Oh my a good use for records that are too damaged to play, but nope won’t be doing that with my record collection 😹😹😹some of mine are from the 1880’s 😳 and still in top quality. Mostly sung in French or German as they are from that part of Europe. The record turns out nice, as always. 🤗🤗 I was wanting to do dot painting, got all the tools and paints and everything 😹😹I just did not take into account that my right hand and arm tremors was going to get in my way, I was so wrong😿😿at the moment I’m working on a paint by numbers hoping this will help me to work with the issue, did not like the box set of colours used so have been making it my own 😹I’m half way through and I’m learning the best time of day for me is in the morning before the tremors get more noticeable. I have lived with this issue all my life but it looks like my meds are not working as well as they use to. It’s the first time it’s affected my ability to paint. I’m not quitting just yet 😹😹just need to work around it that’s all.

I bought a cheep set at a yard sale and when I got them home the were an old set of learning records. In good shape. I’m going to try to find somewhere to donate them. I’m so glad people asked you to do this………why didn’t I think of that😂😂. I have a whole box of albums I bought at a rummage sale two years ago, but haven’t painted one lol. This color palette is perfectly beautiful 💙🤎💙🤎💙🤎. When u base coated, did it fill in the grooves? I have seen mixed comments that some don’t base coat at all because they love using the grooves as their guide lines. I’m just gonna have to get brave and try it both ways 😂😂😂. Thank you ♥️ it did and didn’t fill in the grooves. They didn’t show well enough for guidelines but I could feel them in my swooshes. The line around the label is prominent but I couldn’t remove the label. I just put 2 coats of that chalky on it. I loved the texture of it all. Give it a go… not much to lose. Good luck.. 🤞🏻
