Jaden(Judai) vs Yugi YGOPRO

While I thought the Duel between Yugi and Jaden at the end of GX was fun, I think it could have been better, and maybe been a little more even, since by the end it looked like Yugi really had the lead, so I decided to make my own version for the fun of it. LOL.

I had some issues at the end, in more ways than shown in the video, so just image during Turn 15, after Neos Wiseman is De-Fused that Yubel attacks Summon Skull with Jaden intending to use its effect to reflect the damage and then Yugi uses Natural Selection to destroy Yubel forcing Jaden to end his turn like that.

I guess the coded DM Era De-Fusion to also cancel the Fusion Materials’ potential to attack to reflect its use in the Anime even though I could’ve swore it was Battle City’s rules that prevented Special Summoned monsters from attacking the turn they’re summoned. Granted De-Fusion in GX was errata’d to work like ours, which could explain why they had Kaiser clarify using it on an opposing monster doesn’t split it apart nor summon them to the owner’s foe’s field... Granted that might’ve just been the English Dub killing time. So I guess you could’ve changed Mirror Force to De-Fusion to achieve a similar ending since Judai (hopefully) would’ve learned after Franz that it wouldn’t work. My current memory regarding Yubel’s other forms in the anime is iffy, but if you ever decided to have Judai summon an alt form of Yubel after its destruction and pull a Duel Links (non-canon I know), I guess the way Yugi survives/overcomes Judai would change too, since they would change the dynamic of the Duel entirely if you still desire that result. All that aside, I guess this Duel truly was a retake on the one we got in the anime since Yugi’s Chaos Monsters from his World Tour Deck would implicate GX effects would’ve been in effect regarding De-Fusion, lol.

@@MegaMachiOnline You know that actually could have been better and worked really well. My original idea for the ending was to have Yugi stop the attack with Spell Binding Circle and then destroy Neos Wiseman with Slifer to win, but I ran into the problem of Wiseman's effect activating and dealing effect damage, which apparently doesn't target the monster so Silfer's anime effects wouldn't negate it and since I don't think Yugi has anything to negate monster effects I choose to go with him using De-Fusion instead. But I think your idea would have been better. Yugi stops the attack with Spell Binding Circle, Jaden plays De-Fusion to get Neos and Yubel back still during the Battle Phase, Yubel attacks, but Yugi counters with Natural Selection to destroy it and then next turn Slifer attacks and destroys Neos for game. That would have been awesome.

Well, Jaden's a fellow protag, and I feel the other protags are skilled enough that they deserve to lose against a God Card and not one of Yugi's weaker but still very cool cards like Dark Paladin.

Interesting. It'll never be known what happened, but remember that Jaden beat both The Winged Dragon of Ra AND Dimitri who perfectly copied Yami Yugi including destiny draw. Jaden could have won.

Yugi defeated the 3 Blue eyes white dragons together and Slifer. Something that Jaden didn't.

@@maskedfienddesgardius3161 Now in Jaden's defense when he fought the 3 Blue Eyes, it was in season 1 so he was much weaker and didn't even have his Neospacians yet. And while we ever saw him beat Slifer, he did beat RAa that one time.

@@zexalbrony4799 But Yugi with his first season deck defeated Kaiba at least twice (manga and anime). So there's no excuse. Also, Jaden only beat a copy of Ra against a weak opponent (Franz?). While Yugi did it against Atem and Marik.
