I think the gunshot wound represents his broken heart, and the limbo/sunset that he's stuck in represents him being stuck in a state of heartbreak and the memories of the relationship. The sun never sets bc he's not ready to move on, and I think Jaden finally released this video now bc he's moved on. SYRE is no more and he's escaped his limbo/heartbreak in real life.
