There could be many reasons why Ra obeyed Jaden 1: Most important one is Franz abused Ra so it makes sense that Ra would give Jaden one chance of controlling him to get back against Franz instead of just smiting the boy and having to stay with Franz 2: Jaden has Supreme king soul and gentle darkness power so he might be capable of controlling Ra even without Egyptian ties 3: Jaden can see duel spirits too so he is really spiritually strong and plus has winged kuriboh which was given to him by Yugi. So perhaps Ra considered him worth because of these traits

@@ChadVader-uy7yuwell i'm gonna have to put it in a list cause there's so many: 1) the standard egyptian god effects (i.e. can't be affected by any effects, other than a fellow god and if special summoned returns from where it came.) 2) when summoned it appears as a sphere and will transform and join the side of the player who says the ancient chant, regardless of who summoned it. 3) you can pay 1000LP to wipe out your opponents field. 4) you can pay all but 1 life point and the rest go into its attack and defense, this is treated as a fusion between the user and ra, thus de-fusion can undo it.
