How amazing. I'm 63 years old and someone finally wrote my feelings from childhood into a song. It's how I felt when I was just a child. Thank you 😊

Beautiful song, beautifully sung! This is my favorite performance by Jadyn. I'm a 73 year old musician and I'm convinced that music is in good shape with Jadyn Rylee and Angelina Jordan.

I was sadly bullied by a person whose supposed to protect those whom they raise and Ms Rylee`s part of the song where it talks about invisible well sadly that parent still treats her adult children like their invisible Ms. RYLEE THANK YOU for this Beautifully Written & Sung Song

My husband and I are separated. This is exactly how he makes me feel. Invisible. And I do talk to angels. I have epilepsy, and when I have what's called a euphoric aura, I swear the universe is honing in on me with warmth and love. Hard to describe. Great job, Jayden.

I must say, I am deeply touched by the amount of pain and sorrow she was able to express already back then. Anyone with vocal training can sing a sad song, but this is an entirely different level. It comforts me that she made songs that are genuinely joyful as well.
@g.springfield6866Ай бұрын
@@andreasfischer9158 I agree with you. The video description shares an interesting background to the song: "... Jadyn wanted to make it her own." I think that's a big factor in the special experience with Jadyn's song videos: once she decides to make a song her own - she really lives the song and its content ... and in combination with her great voice and presence Jadyn gives us a great experience. For me this is just rare and wonderful!
@andreasfischer9158Ай бұрын
@g.springfield6866 I can’t recall if it was the Sound of silence cover or “Don’t judge a book” that I saw first. I found that her performance had a very special quality that I can’t put into words. I guess that is where my grasp of the English language reaches its limits. I have been a music enthusiast for almost my entire life but, sadly, started watching music videos only very recently. I had loved to support her journey way earlier.
@g.springfield6866Ай бұрын
@@andreasfischer9158 That's OK. You're not the only one who can't put into words the very special quality of Jadyn's music. Some fans just describe it as "The Magic of Jadyn Rylee." By the way, I like your quote about Jadyn: "Anyone with vocal training can sing a sad song, but this is an entirely different level." Words of wisdom! 👍

Jadyn, i'm so sorry you were bullied. I can't imagine this happening to such a sweet little girl. I too was bullied when I was a young boy, I was the fat kid in school and the bullies were relentless. The only good thing was the fact that I knew who they were and could avoid them whenever possible. There was no internet in the 1960's so there was no cyber bullying which was a good thing. It was very hurtful when the guys were choosing up teams to play baseball or any other game. I was the last kid chosen if at all and mostly ended up walking home with my head hanging low. I really relate to your songs " Dont judge a book by it's cover " and " I'm not invisible ". Nobody stood up for the bullied when I was a kid. By the time I was 14 years old I was playing football. I had grown to be 6 feet tall and weighed 190 pounds and was as strong as a bull. The bullies were intimidated by my size and left me alone, that's when I started defending those who were bullied. When I said to leave that person alone, they did just that. I'm 68 years old now and I still don't like bullies and try to do what I can to help.

Now listening to this song, I can know why I reacted the way I did. I have been the Black Sheep disowned by I now loosely call my family & now happily a lone wolf I am safe no one to decide me but me !?!?
Didn't know she also plays the guitar. Maybe she learned that later. Also, she seems to me in two different rooms from different cameras. Another long note in the usual song about loving yourself. By the way, in Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover, you can tell she is crying inside and has suffered bullying.
