JAECOO J7 AWD Full Review & Genting Drive | Made For Comfort - So Can It Handle? | YS Khong Driving

This is possibly one of the most highly-requested for Genting drive in the last 12 months - every time we put up a video, there will be viewers asking us to test drive this Jaecoo J7.
Finally, here we are, and our first impressions show us that this vehicle has quite a comfortable ride, quite befitting its nick as the Mini Range Rover - the big question is of course, will it handle well.
We get our answer on our favorite mountain - you will hear the occasional protests from the tires as we push it past its limits, but overall, it is a very predictable machine - meaning you won't get any surprises.

Prove to us that you are reliable with the after sales services experience (maintenance cost, availability of parts etc) in the next 5-10 years then you'll no longer hear the people barking about "no resale value"

Great handling with weather yet scary with wide angle cam everything looks super fast. Overall satisfying watch this helps me decide between x70 or J7. With boarder back tyre +1 inch extra rims around be just nice. Give size and presence look.

Thanks for sharing. I Enjoyed the virtual drive 😅 Uncle can have another drive using their auto DCT instead of manual shift. With passengers😊 BTW, does the manual gear shifted by itself after certain high RPM?

@@joliang6109, I don't know it's OK to share over YS page. Anyway I'll give u some clue 1. Most of this brand's car are majority AWD or they call it symmetrical all-wheel drive. 2. The model that I did select is about RM20k more expensive compare with J7 AWD model 3. And this brand is a Japanese brand. The model is also CBU (not like Jeacoo CKD)

The two screens kept switching from dark mode to day mode 😮. So annoying! Why does it do that?

I think the system gives some warning now and then.

depends on the lights, when towards dawn or low light the screens will switch to dark mode so your eye wont hurt. it is very sensative so sometime during a cloudy day passing over bridge the car will deemed that you are at low light and turn to dark mode

I've never seen this unker struggling to attack genting corners this scary. Probably was due to J7 soft suspension and super light steering.

Unker YS, I just have time to watch whole video and the car definitely delivers an awesome ride for a daily car.. However 1 things I found out very ignore is the display centre huge screen.. When Unker YS was having fun with the car, that huge display keeps showing White and black screen... It's very ignoring disturbing during driving experience.. Not sure this feature can OFF it while driving ❓🤔

The sensor is very sensitive (I mean good), and it is very helpful whenever you enter/exit tunnel/shade etc. You can always set to Auto/Day/Night mode to your liking.

just need to get use to it, been driving for a month plus i dont find it annoying or disturbing. Infact, i appreciate the big "IPAD" as it let me look further in waze, and during tight corner or space with the 540 camera
