Mr MOSSO I'M AN OMEGA PERSON THIS IS A DOPE WATCH ROCK ON

I had this watch years ago, a terrific watch, only I had to sell it bcs of its power reserve problem even after I had it serviced 😢

Wish they had done these in smaller case sizes or at least less prominent lugs. I have the non-Compressor Master Geographic which fits my small wrists much better. But I like the dial design on this one slightly more.

Great looking watch, but from day one, I had problems with location change ring slipping .... and JLC has never managed to fix it properly. The company makes superb watches but expensive to fix. Having the watch with an in-house movement is not an advantage when things go wrong.

Your comment saved me from getting this JLC. I see one for sale for $6000 for Memorial Day. I like it but have always preferred watches with few complications. I even prefer no date if possible. But I like this dual time JLC

JLC really do a horrible case and dial in general. They should stick to their awesome movements and outsource everything else.

@Mike Lim JLC is one of the best makes around. I have more than 30 watches and most came with issues ... out of the box. New Longines with broken mainspring, or wobbly bezel. New Breitling with misaligned chrono hand (parking at 1 minute after 12), Omega Speedmaster Pro (have 3 of them) ... with 0.5 beat error and +/- 15 seconds accuracy in multiple positions etc. Just because you buy IWC, or Rolex, doesn't mean that your watch is setup properly. Very few watches, outside perhaps Lange & Sohne, are tuned > taken apart > reassembled > and tuned again, before given to customer. Most watchmakers sell the watches and rely on customers to point out faults .... That JLC Geographic is unique watch .... and I am pretty certain, that it will appreciate in value with time. In UK, JLC charges £750 ($900) for service, but so does Omega and Rolex. Most watches come with 5 years warranty, so you have plenty of time to get faults fixed. People tend to service watches once every 10 years, so the service cost is not that important. If you buy the watch "pre-owned" as it is called now? Buy it from the reputable dealer .... and insist on written parts & labour warranty.

@@rickj8859 Thanks for the good advice. I only own two Rolex, Submariner and OP41, also Seiko. My Seiko runs really fast but I figure for $140 it doesn’t matter.

I haven't seen the dial in that color, usually just black. I can't find this one anywhere. Any advise?

JLC maybe a great brand and make great mechanisms, but always something wrong , the size of those pushers and the red signs , or the other compression line crowns are something incomprehensible....horrible and that's a shame.

Yup. JLC's sports watches have a "kitchen sink" vibe.
