The mv depicts narcissism btw. It’s Based on the Greek God ‘Narcissus’ who was so entranced by his own reflection in a pool of water, and killed himself because he couldn’t “have himself”. Which explains the mirror scene in the mv, but I think it also depicts how this is a secret part of himself that he hides from other people which could represent two different personas of himself, the white jaehyun (the one outside the apartment), and the other jaehyun that’s inside the apartment. Also the sticky stuff is amniotic fluid, and represents himself being reborn. Loved how deep Jaehyun decided to go with the meanings behind the Mv! 😊

Jaehyun/Jamal, his swagger is always swaggering. This handsome man absolutely knows his Rhythm and Blues musical style to the fullest. He is definitely giving old school vibes throughout this video with the way it was filmed, and the song itself. Jaehyun's vocals have always been dreamy and sultry sounding. And, his dance moves are so smooth and clean, his chorography blends so well with the lyrics in the song. Also, you know Jaehyun's all about business and seriousness, when his hair is black and his suits are all on point. He has an incredible sense of style, mixed with an old soul vibes. His visuals are a vibe as well. Every angle of his face is a beautiful work of art. Like always, I enjoyed all of your reactions to "Smoke", especially your reaction Bang Bang. I like your sense of humor, and I agree with you, this song and video is totally Grown Folks music, and to also add to that, the "Smoke" is the right combination of sexy and classy, in my opinion. Hey guys love the reaction! JAEHYUN is all that, always has been! For those who've been sleeping on him check out his solo covers and originals over the years! I believe the number 23 is from NCT having 23 members in the beginning, between the interchangeable NCT Dream, NCT 127, NCT U and the Chinese version WayV. Now they have NCT Wish and with Taeil and Lucas gone the number has obviously changed.

3:37 reactor Koko3op said the horns have JT 20/20 vibes. I lk side-eye Justin, but ref is valid, andJamal floating over some brass is great.
