the clock is going out to black....or is always lighting and readable the time ?

16 Artiny No the clock is always readable it doesn’t go on sleep mode and the time date and temperature is always on the screen

This light fitting is just not working for me. I just unpacked it today, after being gifted it about two years ago. Once the power cord is disconnected, the whole setting goes off and I have to set it up aaaall over again! all! Here in W/Africa, we get to deal with power outage frequently as a matter of course.... unless ofcourse the battery life is dead!🤷‍♀️ By the way, the manual is not very explicit.
