The number of people here assuming this is Kikyo’s song is quite sad, and whether they are actual fans of the series is questionable. This song has nothing to do with Kikyo. It is exclusively Kagome and Inuyasha’s theme song. It plays during Inuyasha‘s romance scenes with Kagome such as the final act kiss or during scenes where their unconditional love for each other is shown. Kikyo contrarily has three distinct beautiful themes to her name, none of which are this one. Please stop making this mistake and misunderstanding the meaning of these songs.

@@halik919 Pretty sure that I’m entitled to feel however tf I want, thanks, and this widespread misconception is disappointing. They’re associating it with her simply because they like her and they like the theme. But if others started making videos merging Kikyo’s theme with Kagome’s clips, these same people would riot. Kaoru Wada made it very clear that this is InuKag’s theme while Kikyo has three other gorgeous themes to her name. Given that he’s the music composer, people should respect his wishes and stop spreading lies. This theme clearly has nothing to do with her so stop pretending like it does

It happens all the time. It doesn’t include any disrespecting signs to the composer. People who hate will always find a reason to do it so let’s not give them attention

@@halik919 Not giving attention to those who hate is a good approach but my original comment was not only directed at them. It was more focused on the people in the comment section who seemed misled. Half of the Kikyo commenters were intentionally talking about Kikyo knowing full-well that this song has no connection to her, while the other half were misled by these comments to think that this song was always Kikyo’s. My comment was directed to both lots, with more emphasis on the latter lot

@@DanA-10357 hmmm... so we are not allowed to comment about kikyou here? As I told you, I don't think anyone is doing it intentionally. It is just that this version is sad and it reminds them of kikyou's tragic life. Honestly I remember inukag more when I hear the music box version of this theme. Come on they are just enjoying the music and commenting whatever popped on their minds at that point.
