It is a volcanic island with thousands of stones and for this reason all the fields are divided with them. Thousands of tourists visit the island every year to see the festivities with the bulls and enjoy these ancient corrals a lot. For example, this owner never wanted to modify this place, but he has another place where the bulls are separated with the best conditions to work, as you can see here in other videos. the volcanos rock is weak but sharp like glass so the rock walls are capped with mortar so it won't cut hand and the top rock cant be knocked off the other rocks in the wall are friction fit and the surface is so jagged they cant be pulled out of the wall.

There are several requirements that the animal has to have, and have to be physically well. We do not put these bullfights here on our channel, this is only for work in the fields with animals, vaccinations, deworming and other services. We also put some traditions here from our land. Nothing keeps bulls calm. They are wild animals and as soon as you mess with them they behave wildly. As you may have seen here in our videos, whenever it is necessary to bring the bulls to the corrals, the cows help a lot, as the bulls follow them, especially if a cow used to go the corral several times, it helps a lot. The bulls are brought to the corrals several times during the year to be dewormed and at other times to choose which ones will be used in the bullfights, which is precisely what happened with these bulls, and then they return to the pastures. Si estuvieras mirando de cerca, habrías visto que esto es la isla Terceira en las Azores, Portugal y si sabes de toros debes saber que está prohibido matar. La ley no lo permite. Aquí también es tradición los toros en las calles y después de correr 20 minutos cada uno, siempre vuelven a los pastos siendo muy bien tratados, de hecho desde que nacen siempre van acompañados del veterinario y se les administran vacunas y vitaminas. a lo largo de su vida, como se puede ver en algunos de nuestros videos.
