"Radhe Radhe, dear friends! I'm thrilled to share our unforgettable journey to Jaggannath Temple in Puri, where we celebrated my sister Shalu's birthday. This was our first trip to Puri, and we were beyond excited!
Although we were a bit apprehensive without Papa, Krishna's blessings guided us throughout. We had the most surreal darshan experience, and every moment was pure bliss. We cherished every second, and it was truly a birthday celebration to remember.

Maa and Shalu were both so happy today, and whenever they are happy, I feel like I’m the happiest person in the world. Family truly is the greatest blessing. Of course, I miss my dad every single day, and so do my mom and my sister. But today, we felt like he was with us in some way. It’s hard to explain, but there was this deep sense of his presence.
I remember once having a conversation with him about the Jagannath Puri temple. It was his dream to visit Puri, and when we finally went, it felt like he was right there with us. It felt as though he was seeing everything through our eyes, hearing everything through our ears, and even experiencing the food we ate through our own mouths. It’s difficult to put into words how or why it felt that way, but it was real.
It’s a reminder to spend time with our loved ones and always make them feel cherished. Time moves quickly, and sometimes I wish I could turn it back. I wish I could hear my dad’s voice again, calling my name, and sharing his wisdom. He used to tell me, “Shiya, the most special thing in this world is being with your family, seeing their happiness.” It’s only now that I truly understand what he meant. Life teaches us these truths, often when it’s too late.
We miss him so much, not just on birthdays but every single day. There’s an emptiness, a void, that nothing can fill. But what we still have is each other. We are together as a family. We may fight, we may cry, we may laugh, but we always know that we have each other's backs. We never give up on each other.
So, take a moment to let your family know how much they mean to you. Give them a big hug, a "jadoo ki jhappi," and tell them you love them-because family is truly the greatest gift we have.
I’m feeling a little emotional right now. My heart is so full. But honestly, I feel good to have shared this. I am incredibly thankful for this amazing trip, and for everything that life has given me.
We embarked on this adventure on July 27th and returned to Mumbai on July 29th. Nextday, we headed to Indore and Ujjain on July 30th - stay tuned for that video!
