The municipality accepted the "newly built" homes with cracks in the foundation, no water, no electricity. The builder was telling us the homes still need a D1 inspection from engineers but wanted us to sign acceptance for the homes. Some people are in their homes with no basic human needs being met. No sanitation, and our home has big chips in the walls that they painted over. The mayor is handing over these homes instead of standing with the people. He is on the side of the tendertrepreneur who's in a hurry to get out of Jagersfontein.
