@@Ice_barrage well depending were you life potential lawsuit for damages or jail time if you get caught running an illegall business. botting is very easy, finding buyers and managing sells is very, very time consuming and not stable at all. so depending were you life actuall work is better. casue if you hear "botters do xxk €/$ per month" is not 1 person getting that much is usualy a team of 10-20 ppl or even more. i did it once out of curiosity but stoped soon after just to know the process. i just bot "unlimited member" + extra untill they ban the botters cause its no use to even compete for in game gold unless you can spend 6-8 h a day just to make gold.

There's a massive bot or gold farm network that goes online in worlds 505-525 UK at MLM between the morning hours of like 5-10 UK. I've been on pretty early countless times on near empty worlds (maybe 3 other people + me) when out of nowhere 10 or so random low levels in full prospectors and a rune pick hop on and takeover the upper level all at once. Once I tried to outrun them, but every world lower on the list (505 > 506 > 507) would gradually fill up in the same manner and I was forced to use a US server to escape them. This was a month or two ago, but I witnessed it happen over like an equal amount of time so I'm sure it's still up and running.

The part where the guy talked about recovering his account reminded me of mine. I made my account back in 2015, and pretty much only did Tut island and a bit of mining. Then dropped it. Only last year did I feel like playing again, and recovered my account. I found that all of my skills were the same, except I had 61 thieving. My bank was empty aside from around 400k and a frog mask. I don't really hear about thieving bots anymore, so there's a throwback. When I logged back in, it had been 1,900 days since last login. haha

Yo man! You really have to go to Zulrah, especially world 302. There are sooo many bots there, it's unbelievable. I would guess that around 80-90% of the players hopping to Zulrah is a bot, they are really easy to spot. They all are combat level 90-96, they all wear blue mystic (some black-red) and use a trident of the swamp. They all have 1's at the skills, but strangely enough, all their mining levels are level 15. I have heard that it has been going on for months on end, and the kill count proofs it. On average the bots have a kc of 7500. I have even seen some bots with 12k up to 15k kc. That is 1.5 billion profit for one account! Please get this out in the world and to Jagex! Oh, and I love your vids, they are amazing procrastination material, not even sorry :P

If you were to make an text reader AI at the GE then it would only have the ability to flag an acc for moderator investigation because giving the AI the ability to actually ban would be risky given that the GE has a lot of social occurrences and a real player could easily be mistaken for a bot if they said just the right line of text.

I said in my report if it wasn't rectified then I'd stop spending real money and use in game gold only. They emailed me back about 10 hours later saying it had been sorted. i forget if you covered zulrah bots, but theres still so many of them. they're always in full mystic and sit at the dock in groups sometimes. they always have 25 range with 80-99 magic and sometimes like 20m exp.they sometimes have zulrah kc up to even 10k. i think i saw vorkath bots doing the same thing at 330. they just sit in a random group for a certain amount of time. then they run in lol.

@SirPugger, with your knowledge of OSRS and the anti-cheating systems, can you tell me if it ACTUALLY makes a difference when I right click > report bots out in the wild? I feel like Jagex doesn't really do anything when I report bots. I play on an iron man account and see them everywhere, especially resource spots like ores, fish, trees, etc. Some of them are blatant suicide bots, some of them are a bit more hidden but I report them and nothing happens. I'll come back HOURS later after long quests and stuff and the same accounts will be there.

I was doing Freminik Isles today (always struggle with that spelling), and I noticed there were bots in almost every world buying (I think) the raw sharks from the fish store on Jatizo. They were all around the same combat level and any time I’d get remotely close to them, they’d immediately log out. I saw a similar thing with the Ore trader there as well. I think it’s because they sell Adamant Ore, but I can’t be sure since they all kept logging out so quickly. Can anyone else corroborate this?

I really recommend you getting to black chins. The lvl 6s-9s that have 110+ hunter level is insane. Tried making a low level mage account to kill them but they always have a protector that somehow always logs in to defend them. I find it super suspicious because there’s atleast 2-3 in each world and there’s also lvl 40s and 60s who get protected by kids with maxed pures. Hopes this helped. Tried doing some justice for ya but I got bored of dying to lvl 40 rangers with dark bows. Go get em pugg

Jagex must support bot busters! Give them a ring(like the ring of coins) that will transform the player into something valuable for the specific bot. If the bot will try to pick up the ‘item’, then it’s probably a bot! Make an option perhaps so the bot automatically gets reported and will be looked in to with more urgent
