Man I remember I flew home for two weeks from Iraq to see my first born child. Man I cried like I never cried before when I kissed his forehead right before I walked into the airport. All us soldiers flying back were in uniform, and you could tell we all had shed some tears. I can remember all the people on the plane that were civilians flying out of Colorado. They just had a look on their face that said it all as they avoided eye contact. They had the look of someone who didn't want to look at us, only because they knew we were all crying and they still respected our moment. But you could just see that they wanted to cry for us as well. It was such a real human moment for that whole flight. GRIM 2/3 ACR OIF 1 OEF 3

deletedauto god does not support wars, but the bible tells us to defend ourselfs no different than animals do. If we didn't have a military we wouldn't have a country. The problem today is we have a corrupt government that don't mind killing our children for corps and oil. War should only happen when we are being invaded or we have to rise up to our own government.

I'm 32 as well. Listening to this song back when I was a teen was sad to me, but I wasn't in a relationship. From June 28 until now I've been going through a a nasty divorce with my husband. I had to get away from him. He was getting more and more abusive by the day and in front of our 2 year old son. I had to get my son from away from him. The day my son and I left our home for good to come stay with my parents until my apartment is ready, he called me a b**** repeatedly and said twice he was gonna beat the shit out of me. I had never been talked to like that before and no one (my parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents on either side before they left this world had ever been divorced) but at the same time np one in my family had ever married someone like him before. He changed after we got married in 2014 in every worst way possible little by little. I could go the rest of my life if I could without ever speaking or seeing his sorry self again. He has degrees upon degrees and speaks different languages but doesn't know that its not ok to abuse ppl especially ur wife in front of ur 2 year old son and I always believed him that he wouldn't be like his father seeing as how he and his siblings don't like him for beating their mom and puncturing her arteries in front of them back in 1995 when he was 10, but he's exactly like him.

I am a grown 33 year old man but the little girl with the teddy bear almost got me teary eyed when I first saw this video. I think minus having a military mom or father I was the only child and a lonely child for a good while before my sister was born some years later.

Barry Pepper hella underrated as an actor. I always remember this beautiful video with him and the lady who was in Memoirs of a Geisha. ❤️❤️❤️ I truly understand this song now that I'm older.

I had my son when I was 17 and gave him up for an adoption because I knew I couldn't take care of him the way he deserved to be. few years later this song came out and I would cry everytime I heard it because almost every word felt like it was straight out of my heart. Some times when you love some one so much but the best thing you can do is let them go so that they have a better chance at life. But I'm happy to announce that about a little over a year ago he found me and now we talk all the time and when he turns 18 we plan on meeting each other for the 1st time in 17 yrs. so those of you out there who has gone through similar situation as I. Dont give up
