A very famous Ghazal...Ishq mein gairat-e-jazbaat ne rone naa diya, originally sung by Begum Akhtar, in her inimitable style and charismatic voice ! And reminiscences of this beautiful ghazal in that divine voice, brought back by the the heart touching duet of Jagjit and Chitra Singh ! Though here in this live performance, JS and CS sing the poetry of two legendary poets, side by side.....; Sudarshan Faakir and Khwaja Haider Ali Aatish ! The very poignant lyrics, rendered soulfully by both the singers, touch the inner core ! Chitra ji sings, Sudarshan Faakir and Jagjit ji sings, Haider Ali Aatish saheb ! @@sumansaurav71 Begum Akhtar sahiba ne Faakir sb ki ghazal gaayi thi, aur Amanat Ali sahab ne Aatish sb ki ghazal gaayi hai ! Jab ki JS aur CS ne dono ghazlon ko combine karke gaaya hai iss composition ko ! Shukriya link ke liye! Achchi lagi unki makhmali awaaz mein gaayi Aatish sb, ki ye ghazal !

सुमन जी पहला शेर मेरे लिए नया है इससे पहले कभी इस ग़ज़ल में सुना नही था , जैसा जगजीत जी कहा .." यार को मैं ने मुझे यार ने सोने न दिया रात भर ताले-ए-बे-दार ने सोने न दिया. रात भर की दिल-ए-बेताब ने बातें मुझ से , रंज-ओ-मेहनत के गिरफ़्तार ने सोने न दिया...हैदर अली आतिश"
