तेरे क़दमों पे सर होगा क़ज़ा सर पे खड़ी होगी फिर उस सजदे का क्या कहना अनोखी बंदगी होगी (क़ज़ा = मौत) नसीम-ए-सुबह गुलशन में गुलों से खेलती होगी किसी की आख़िरी हिचकी किसी की दिल्लगी होगी (नसीम-ए-सुबह = सुबह की शीतल हवा), (गुलशन = बाग़, बग़ीचा), (गुल = फूल) दिखा दूँगा सर-ए-महफ़िल बता दूँगा सर-ए-महशर वो मेरे दिल में होगी और दुनिया देखती होगी (सर-ए-महफ़िल = भरी सभा में, सबके सामने), (सर-ए-महशर = क़यामत के दिन) मज़ा आ जायेगा महशर फिर कुछ सुनने सुनाने का ज़ुबाँ होगीवहाँ मेरी, कहानी आप की होगी (महशर = फैसले का दिन, क़यामत का दिन) तुम्हें दानिस्ता महफ़िल में जो देखा हो तो मुजरिम हूँ नज़र आख़िर नज़र है बे-इरादा उठ गई होगी (दानिस्ता = जान बूझ कर) -सीमाब अकबराबादी

This ghazal is very difficult to sing and make the people enjoy this, without this bful sound setting, wonderful musicians and magnificent presentation by Jagjeet ji, Aap jagjeet ji filmi ghazals or kuchh aur ghazalon ko gaane ke liye chun sakte hain, but this will be a very difficult choice

Raja sahib...one of my favorite ghazals sung by many other artistes from Hyderabad as well. Keep up the great work. It is great to hear the old ones you convert from tapes to digital versions. Would love to hear some more of those old "private" mehfil gems from the 70's when he was touring the middle east more frequently.
