Wow semma speed, till now which ever train I have traveled was always slow and delayed including Mysore-Chennai evening Shatabdhi from Bangalore was damn slow and it reached Chennai that day around 11pm instead of 9.45pm, I never have experienced super fast journey only on one occasion I had to travel from Chennai to Coimbatore for a office trip and boarded West Coast Express it was awesome and very high speed apart from that never experienced such an aggressive journey ever 😞😞

Unlike Central, Egmore is just a pass through station and not a Terminus except for PF 1-3. The first three platforms and the loco trip shed do have buffers on the eastern ends.
