I never was a huge fan of jaguar, BUT: GOD, this car - especially in the black/grey colour combination you've mentioned - is just STUNNING. Finally Jag really made a car that can be easily considered ,,desireable as HELL''. Great job! I'm in love.

Great video, as always, Harry! Gotta say that I love the sounds coming out of both of the cars. The v6 just tickles my fancy that little bit extra. They've really hit the jackpot with that raspy, hollow, shouty v6 sound!

The Mito was Harry's latest addition in Fast Fleet. It's a twin air if memory serves, so a tiny 900cc but turbocharged and makes 85bhp. It's a very characterful engine.

Nice filming at 2:48. The scenery is classic UK - mega. Amazed about the hat and how the glasses didn't fall off when driving w/out roof at that speed (looking fast). Mike's got solid, sort of elegant, silent voice, but can't hear properly on vid. Fan of V6.

Gotta' keep in mind it's a convertible, too. Hard to get truly proper noise dampening in a tiny cabin with a retractable top! The camera's position on the dash may also have something to do with additional air cycling around the cabin's far edges, catching additional noise.

The V6 sounds great for a V6, but good Lord does that V8 sound absolutely amazing. A proper small two-seater sports car, with 495 horsepower and a convertible top. For around $100K that's a hell of a car.

My wife was overtaken by an F -type V6s on a lovely road for fast overtaking (A96). The shiny red, gorgeous jag clearly had the sports exhaust which sounded like a Spitfire. The driver thrashed hell out of his Jag to stay ahead of the wife's RS6. .. the poor blighter thought we were racing. My wife scarcely went above 2500rpm which is ample for brisk progress. ... she could have crushed his ego at will. but didn't. .... jag-man was in heaven, why spoil it? ..... I wonder how many times he's told how raced and beat a new RS6 in his local pub?

RS6 will win anyday vs Ftype V6. But S6 vs Ftype V6 is more a comparison. RS6 vs Type V8 is more equal, especially awd. Videos below show both track and drag results. RS6 vs Ftype SVR will be an unfair comparison. As a joy to drive, any f-type over any Audi, bar R8 range. Audi has taken a long-term contract with Xerox after Walter Da Silva penned the A5.

Went to the new Range Rover launch event and the new F-Type was also their, peaking away in the corner, loverly car but i was staggered to see that the V8 S has an average price tag of 89k which i feel this makes the XK redundant (apart from it has two more seats than this)! Would you pick this over a AM V8V or R8 which are both around this price range? I personally would rather have a V8V however im sure Jaguar will sell many of these!

v8 s starts at $92k. XKR starts at $97k. two totally different cars and but worth the price. no maintance other them oil changes. Jaguar is stepping up it's game but they also need to make a car that is low to mid $30k again. X-type sold well(of course it has it's problems but owners love them) and i hope jaguar will make a one soon.
