He's one of the worst in my opinion. His reviews are often very subjective and lean more into his own taste than objectivity. He also has a tendency to flirt with controversy simply for the sake of notoriety. There are far better in my humble opinion.

The difference is that Xcar is owned by Cnet/CBS Corporation which is a multi billion dollars media company. Drive+ doesn't have that kind of financial backup to online survive on the ads on their videos...so they have to make people pay to support the content.

And before you compare them to other channels, they don't have magazines to boost their profits. I understand why drive needed to adapt and personally I would prefer to have them still making videos than for them to close up shop and not see them again. But that's just me. As with everything the problems arise when people don't fully understand the background to something before they go and make up their minds and spout their opinions!

I love Jags. That growling V8 just does it for me every time. I wish these foreign 4 doors still came in a standard transmission like a couple of the American 4 doors are still doing. That's one thing I hope Cadillac NEVER changes. Can't beat a firm handshake.

Great video once again guys!! I think your video does highlight how here in the UK we need more lightweight, smaller cars with less power but have the get up and go (and sound... sound is so important) the Alfa 4C fits the bill but it doesn't sound too great and is a little too hardcore. But you know, smaller engine, less weight and you can actually utilise it and have fun with it. There's too many far too over powered heavier cars which like you say you just can't use their potential. I would find that massively frustrating!

Just to clarify, I wouldn't say no though and do think there's never enough power haha but actually thinking about it seriously, it probably is better to have less weight and less power and rag it round than to be permanently scared to use full throttle!

The transmission is a ZF 8 speed, which has a regular torque converter, not a clutch

God, I love your enthusiasm in these videos!! This particular video seems a bit different then the rest ,,, not completely sure why?! Different and better! You make me want to drive this Jag ... not own it, mind you, just drive it! Like Clarkson drove the Black a few years back. DedicationBlog That was tear jerking moment. Seeing it in full glory. In my view jaguar is the only one left that truely makes emotional cars something not very common today. Not that German precision is bad but jaguars really binds you heart.

Real nice video! I like the XF. I'd pick one over any of the German stuff any day. Those cars are great, but the Jag is much more interesting. And that bit at the end around the track made me realise how similar a supercharger actually sounds to violins or other stringed instruments. For a moment that's what I thought that's what that noise was. You expect to hear that whine with a big powerful V8, but then I realised it was the music.

i love the stuff jaguar's been putting out since tata bought them. best thing that could happen to the brand, i see tons of XF's here in switzerland, the f-type is nothing short of a legend already, and the XJ is so much more exiting and beautiful than the bmw 7 , audi a8 and merc s-class. in a few years i'll buy either a used xf or ,if i can find one for a decent price, a used xj.

Ross T 35000 is still a lot of money. in 5 years they'll have dropped to just over 10000 i asssume. luxury cars lose value at an insane rate!

I've used to approach to own, over the years, four otherwise (for me) unaffordable Jags. The only one that bit me was a 1970 E-Type roadster. It was built during the horrific years of British Leyland. My current '01 XJR has 133K miles on the clock and runs like a train. I probably won't live long enough to own a Tata-era Jaguar but at least I have the satisfaction of knowing my favorite marque is in good hands.
