familiarize yourself with the air suspension system and take care of it. The only reason why air suspension gets a bad name is because the people who buy these high end cars rely solely on the dealer for everything and the dealer doesnt drive your car every day. Keep an eye on the system and it will last the life of the car. Go buy that 2006 if you havent already and just keep an eye on it. The conversion will run you more than just repairing the current air suspension anyway. Good luck

I have a x350 would a code show what is wrong with the air suspension? I can get the 4 shocks and struts and the override box for 1200-1300. What maintenance do you suggest when you say "keep an eye on it". I live in Las Vegas so other than the summer heat there is nothing that will corrode or rust any parts.

Great job guys. A Friend of mine did a conversion on his XJ6. We are in Cyprus. After the conversion the Air Ride light on the dashboard came ON. Does anyone knows how to turn it OFF. Thanks.

Would have been nice if you had called out what size sockets you used so that we know what tools we'll need before we start the procedure. What size socked it needed at the base of the rear shock? I replaced my front shocks with orig style air shocks up front last year. No big surprises. Just got the air suspension fault message today and it looks like one of the rear ones has developed a leak in the same spot.

The 8 top shock nuts in the boot are 13mm.
