This is impressive. Which of the ZF 8HP variants did you choose? Does it bolt right up to the driveshaft and engine block or are adaptors needed? Is any cutting necessary?

8HP70 from the Jaguar XF (X250) bolts straight onto the engine and propshaft iirc

@@runesmDK Not really a quick reply im afraid. Differs car to car. Naturally. In this case both my E-throttles are allowing some air to pass in a specific window on decel. Naturally you'll need a bit of fuel! You'll just have to play with it

Am I right in seeing that you don't need to make a bellhousing adaptor for this swap? What did that ZF box come from?

front intercooler pipes blocking your rads enough to cause overheating? blocking the back of the intercooler in front of your main rad will destroy your airflow?

Nope, none, ran it all last year, significantly better than the stock sized rad. 👍

The exhaust is very close to that oil pan for the transmission. Is that OK?

It's wrapped and heat shielded since the video. Too close ideally, but all seems ok. It also now has an aluminium sump. :-)
